Yea as far as I understand bandai does own megahouse and banpresto. I doubt I'll be getting golden frieza, I'm still struggling with taking a decision regarding the current frieza. I'm not convinced he should code that much. Wow, I knew Bandai owned Banpresto but not MegaHouse. Interesting. Bandai control almost the entire DBZ merchandise industry in Japan. So most of the games and toys manufacturers that have licensing to DBZ i.e Megahouse\Popy\Plex\Banpresto\Tmashii ~ etc are subsidiary companies that are part of the corporation. And each manufacturer are focused on their part of the niche of the market. (Gashpons and Candy toys\Web exculsives\crane-lottery prizes\high end statues) So for example, some Toho pieces from X-PLUS (that is branch of Plex) were sold as limited edition via the Bandai shop before. So this seem to be the same type of thing with a Megahosue product made as a Bandai shop limited edition. |

Though I like the sculpt on D.O.D Golden Frieza, the paint job is what is killing it for me. I wish they would have used a more metallic gold paint.

DOD FAT BUU DOD REGULAR TRUNKS Buu's head and mouth are too big, the rest looks pretty good. Trunks would be great if the suit was not so wide (specially the jacket), you can put 2 Trunks inside of that. I'm still not a fan of the fabric material in a figure. EDIT

Trunks looks horrible IMHO....Buu is a must have for me though.

I like buu the most. Vegeta looks ok and I'm sure trunks could use some improvement on the jacket. He's got potential in my opinion tjough.

Vegeta's face is VERY reminiscent of the old art style (Saiyan Saga mostly). Buu's head seems a bit big but otherwise, well done overall. Trunks looks good except for his enormous jacket. It always seems with this line that they can't get the top part of the clothing right. On the plus side for the clothing, it's removable, so now we have jacketless Trunks!.

Woww... that Trunks is absolutely terrible... and I started out appreciating the DOD line as I have SSJ Goku and Piccolo.. I'll probably complete my DOD collection with Vegeta and Frieza
