They messed it up badly with that big size, Freeza doesn't fit at all with the rest of figures of the DOD line... I like quite a lot the Golden Freeza, I will get it if he's smaller than the other. Unfortunately no takezo! The Golden Frieza will be the same size as the Frieza Final Form! See the text in the picture at the bottom right.

To be honest, that Freeza might look halfway decent with the Medicos Goku. The Medicos often appears taller than he actually is because of that high base and the ki effect around his feet. The figure itself is a good inch or inch and a half above whatever surface he's placed on. As for this, I myself am not a fan of this line. The sculpt on most of these are weird. I think you're right! Perhaps these three fit well together: Zero Ex Goku (30cm) , Goku Medicos (25cm, slightly in the knees), D.O.D Frieza (19cm). I hope we will once these three see on a picture.

Brilliant idea @redstar77 I think frieza would look great with zero ex goku. But what if they make a zero ex frieza?

I am disappointed that Golden Frieza is going to be a Limited Edition + Web Exclusive.

So how does exclusives work with Megahouse? I can read the Katakana and it says premium bandai so I'm a little confused. I'm not really knowledgeable about this stuff but is Megahouse a branch of Bandai or something?

Yea as far as I understand bandai does own megahouse and banpresto. I doubt I'll be getting golden frieza, I'm still struggling with taking a decision regarding the current frieza. I'm not convinced he should code that much.

I can't understand why some people are going "gaga" over the new DOD line. It's really not up to par imo; especially not for the price of these figures.
Bandai seems like the Disney of the anime figure verse. It just sucks up and absorbs everything.

The figures are underscaled or out of scale with each other and the clothing gimmick isn't working. I've been hoping for a well-scaled 1/8 line for DBZ and I was looking to these but so many things about them just turned me off em. The MSP figures are more worth it IMO.

Roy Focker on FB already has pics of the production ZERO EX Goku. The Hair is still too short, and is considerably cloudy when you consider the price of this. Since it has an even higher price tag than the Medicos, I was expecting it to be at least comparible to that in quality. It is a good piece, don't get me wrong.

I'm more into MSP because the sculpts seem at least a little better. The paintjobs could use considerable work, but over all, I find it a more satisfying line for their cheap price.

MSP could definitely tone it down on the tanning lotion they apply to their figures. Other than that, they're a really great line. Good variety of characters so far and good price point. Sculpts are pretty good even though they're a bit stylized (looking at you Vegeta). Really excited to see where the line goes.

with the DOD line most of them look like crap personally, Goku/Vegeta look nice in sculpt only. I got to see them (DOD figures) at anime north yesterday and was SUPER disapointed and even considered Cancelling my DOD Broly Preorder then i figured id still take the chance.
Freeza looks amazing, unscaled or not, my only issue is the shins, and Broly is awesome too except his neck seems too thick
