Got these Academy Model Kits from berrykushbrad yesterdee. I had already bought a Bulma from someone in Hong Kong (which ended up arriving today, lol) before I bought these from Brad. So now I have TWO Bulmas that I don't need, so if anyone wants to buy one, hit me up. It's also bittersweet because Tien was missing his face piece from within the factory sealed plastic, so I don't blame Brad at all for that, because I didn't even notice it was missing while I took pics of the unopened stuff. I didn't notice it until I had already put Bulma and Roshi together, then opened all of Tien's plastic bags. The first piece you put together is the head... lol. So, if by some miracle, someone has a damaged Academy Tien, or just the head, or just the front face piece, haha, please let me buy it from you!Anyway, pics! Right-click >>> "view image" for full size. I circled where the face should be, behind a leg piece, next to the back of the head piece. As always, comparisons!

Oh man! Missing the face! That sucks so bad! You could use a Crazy Bones Tien though the back side of these super hard plastic heads isn't sculpted. Or when you get Yamcha, you could use his extra head, which isn't very useful for Yamcha. I'd offer to make a mold and cast you a copy of the real Tien face, but it'd be something I'd have to charge quite a bit for and the ears would turn out bad due to how I'd have to do it. I'd recommend mutilating the extra Yamcha head personally.

That Crazy Bones head looks about right. I checked with a bootleg DWC Tien head, but it's really too small. An Irwin model kit Tien head is a little bigger, but ugly as hell. Idk, no matter what, it won't be the original face, and that just irks me. I'm probably just gonna wait and see if another one shows up for a good price, as well as Yamcha and Goku/Krillin.
So Yamcha comes with 2 heads? Why couldn't Tien have come with 2 heads, lol!

Marvelous Mark You can buy my Crazy Bone head of Tien if you want it. I don't have to have it, but your offer would have to be respectable at least to get me to let it go. More than $1 lol. I promise you though, if you don't have a dremel and a vise to hold it in, it's going to be a total bitch to deal with, because the plastic is hard as a rock and these things chip like tempered glass. In other news... JACKPOT!!!!! PGVHere is a Giochi Preziosi Tien/SS Vegeta 2 pack next to an AB Combat Set. I thought these would be the same scale but they aren't. The Giochi Preziosi figures are bigger than AB 2 inch ones, but smaller than AB Combat Set ones. Perhaps 2.25 inch scale while AB Combat Set figures ("J" in the pic above) are perhaps 2.75 inch scale. Giochi Presiosi Tien compared to my mildly customized Jakks Tien.

Branjita , That's your prizes for Scene Stealers, right? Awesome lot of stuff there, that Tien is really cool! That 4-armed Tien on Goku's legs is so weird looking though, lol. I'll pass on the Crazy Bones Tien though, I would definitely f*ck it up, nor could I paint it. I got this Atlas Naturon from Ascat along with Jakks Nova. Compared with DeAgostini Naturon

Yo, @marvelous Mark here is your solution. The head from the Unifive Action Tien.

PGV had an extra one, but Boddah got one too! We changed the things I was getting as prizes because I was trading PGV stuff and doing him the favor of mailing stuff to him from other people. Mark, I have both of those Shenrons too. It's hard to pick a favorite. The bigger one actually displays better, because the smaller one's tail is always in the way! He doesn't fit on a shelf well. But I like the sculpt of the smaller one so much better. One day, I may customize the DeAgostini one into the mole form. Why? Because it's one of the only episodes of GT I actually enjoyed.

lol, I forgot about Tien needing a head. I would have to have two of those Unifive Tien's cause I'd want to keep one as is, . Looks like it would work well, though. I feel the same way about the Naturons, Bran. The tail on the Atlas version made me put him on the top tier of the step-shelf thing, but I like its mold better. But I like the size of the DeA one. The Atlas Naturon looks like it could be a 90's Jurassic Park figure. Got these Yolanda figures yesterday. I put more individual and comparison pics in the Yolanda thread: dragonballfigures.boards.net/thread/1066/

I just received these 7 figures in the mail today. It's the Giochi Preziosi "the legend is here" (German release) Damn these brings back memories. This specific series from Giochi Preziosi were for a long time the only DBZ figures you could get i Denmark. I remember walking into the book stores, which were the only DBZ retailer in Denmark at the time, in 2006 and they still had these figures on shelf. All 7 was 35€

Got this today. I assumed it was an AB figure, but could it be a bootleg? I know there's a variant without the white painted parts like this one. The seams from the mold appear pretty pronounced, and there's no marking for a copyright/year/maker. It was also missing the tail. It only cost about $11, so if it's real, hey good price minus the tail I guess, and if it's bootleg, hey I collect bootlegs too, so yeah. But does anyone else who has this figure notice anything more odd than it should be?
