Nice Gonstead. How do you feel the quality is on that guy? Pretty well constructed? Pretty solid for a bootleg with no hollow bits at all and some pretty decent articulation. Head on a swivel joint. Arms can go in, out and around. Elbows. Wrist swivels. Legs go forward and back. Ankle's swivel. Tail swivel. My only issue is that the tail on my copy can't fit inside the hole on his butt but a little carving can solve that. I'd say if you get the chance, do get him even if it's simply for the novelty of owning one. |

Do you think they tried to make him fit in with the scale of anything? The transparent one that looks more accurate to the character seems to be the same size as Movie Collection figures.

Most likely he scales with the other Mexican Bootleg figures only. He's too large for Irwin, Jakks and Figuarts but too small for the Movie Collection. I'm actually considering getting the transparent Birusu, so if I do get it, I can post details and comparisons. |

I saw that one awhile ago. I don't know the size but the body is based on the IF Labs Roshi figure.

I saw that one awhile ago. I don't know the size but the body is based on the IF Labs Roshi figure. It says it's about 4.50". Looking at the figure I don't think it's based on the IF Labs Roshi either. Looks more like an original sculpt. |

The arms and legs as well as the shirt are very similar to the IF Labs one but perhaps it was just inspiration.
