Got this Irwin Prototype Vegeta the other day. I remember a while back, someone (I think king?) posted it after it ended with no bids, so when it came back up I grabbed it. Idk if it's rare or anything. And here it is with the finished product.

I didn't rmbr that part, lol. I hope not anyway. Wouldn't paint thinner affect the plastic, melt it or something?

What do you plan on doing with the Vegeta Mark? Just leave it as is? Need to clean the smudges off I think.

I probably won't try to clean it though. If it's a legit prototype, I'd rather just leave it exactly how I got it. It looks like someone wrote a 6 on his front and a 2 on his back. Idk what that could be for. I didn't rmbr that part, lol. I hope not anyway. those are sometimes called test shots, they are figures removed from the production line before paint is applied. it's not a prototype, it's an incomplete figure basically. people often call them prototypes, but unless the sculpt is different from the production figure or it is made of wax or clay, it isn't a prototype generally. there's other exceptions, but basically prototypes are figures that haven't been through production.
paint thinner cannot be put on plastic figures. it will eat/damage the plastic before the paint is entirely removed. paint thinner or nail polish remover will leave a cloudy appearance that is permanent and to some types of plastic, will leave it looking like Swiss cheese or eat through it entirely. I haven't tried it on a dbz figure, but know through experience on hot wheels cars and X-Men figures

Thanks for the insight, Bran! I kinda thought it might just be an unpainted figure, but it's still pretty unique to me.

I've always wanted to see what an unpainted Irwin Yamcha would look like. I'm curious if the jacket would still be yellow or not.
