No. But I've ordered from nakano, shibuya, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Sapporo and all of them did the same thing.

Any difference in shipping?
Can you cite a specific example regarding the package value?

Any difference in shipping? Can you cite a specific example regarding the package value? Well shipping is practically the same. Freeza from Nagoya cost me 980 yen, trunks from Fukuoka cost me 870 yen and krillin from shibuya cost me 760 yen so there isn't much difference. I don't have any of the boxes to provide you with physical proof LOL

they dont usually price them properly so there isnt import fees often. but certain stores will obey the rules more than others, Nakano cares the least

Do they consider your request if you ask them nicely? And can we send an inquiry to the concerned store about the condition of the item? Do they respond?
I'm aware that none of you work for Mandarake (except for king maybe!) but I just thought of asking here first.

LOL, no i don't work for manda... if i did you would NEVER see the good stuff... at least not cheaply. To my knowledge the strict stores will not lower it even if requested, yes they respond to questions but 9/10 times by the time they respond the thing you wanted will be sold

Is Kokura one of 'em stricter ones? What if we order something and find the shipping to be too high? Does that justify a cancellation?

Mandarake is a seriously addicting place to buy from, especially when you have spare dosh lying around and you come across a figure for cheap compared to retail and ebay.
It's like a drug. Once you try it, you can never give it up.

I'm addicted to YAJ like that. And now I think Manda will be like my secondary drug to wash off the effects of the first one.
BTW, Kokura replied back and they do undervalue stuff. Nice sheeple.

It's especially bad when you've already ordered something from one of their stores, decide to have a random search for something specific and it turns out they have just what you are looking for, now you feel compelled to buy it so that someone else doesn't snatch it up.
If I wasn't saving up to spend it at the yearly con I'm always going to this year, I'd have probably blown it all on Mandarake long ago.
