Just got Vader today. Love the figure. Before the Figuarts were announced, I was planning on getting into the Black Series, but I didn't like the cloth cape on the BS Vader so i'm glad I was able to get my hands on the Figuarts version.
Also it's my first non-DBZ figure to add to my collection!
So as I said, it's a good figure. I've been hearing people say the head is a bit small and that the figure itself should be a bit taller. These aren't really the kinda nitpicky things I worry about so I couldn't give you a good idea of these aspects of the figure, it all looks pretty good to me.
Now I just gotta wait for Luke! Kind of annoying I have to wait so long to get both figures duking it out on the bonus stage.

I actually pre-ordered Vader a couple of days ago for $65. Now the price has jumped up to $80. Luckily I didn't hesitate

I just ordered Vader from HLJ for 4900 yen (about $41) and I got two Tie Pilots and Storm Troopers from the Black Series to go with him. My first Star Wars figures ever and they're pretty awesome! Can't wait till Figuarts Darth Maul comes out, he looks siiiiiick

Still need to get the Tie pilot, Jabba, and ig-88, Boushh and Commandor cody when they will be out. And I really really want the Hoth sets too haha.. I think that the two lines will go very well together to give out both quality and character variety. but I don't want to start mixing in just yet, Revoltech, Mafex, etc, too. The 1/12 Bandai model c3po look excellent though, but I kinda think there is a decent chance tamashii will make him.. well lets wait and see. I can't wait to see what will come from Tamashii next.

The SH Figuarts Storm Trooper is very plain looking. $50 for the figure and one gun, if I'm not mistaken.

Only reason I'm holding off on buying C3PO and R2 is cuz Tamashii might make em. The Revoltech ones look great but I wanna see what Tamashii has in store. Same goes for Fett.

Yeah those are really cool. I've got a Boba Fett on Preorder, wasn't quick enough to get my hands on a Vader unfortunately.
