Does the scouter read the power levels off the base of the figure? Cool

I hear you! Only thing that bugs me is that all the scouter lenses are the same color, would have been nice to have had a different colored lens with each pack. And also, though this is just a personal gripe, but I can't help but wonder how on earth Krillin made it to the lineup...I mean, the whole point of the toy's gimmick is to read power levels and they choose...Krillin!?! To fit in with the era all the figurines are from, I'd have chosen Vegeta or Gohan or even Captain Ginyu or maybe even Zarbon.

Well, the official power level for Krillin at that time is 90,000. Great catch, those are hard to come by.

You are definitely going to have to tell us how it works when you get yours in Eis

I thought I knew how these worked, but I might be wrong. See the squiggly stuff below Piccolo? If it's like how I think it works, the red lens would make all of the red squiggles disappear and you'd be able to see the number written there. Problem with that theory is that the squiggles are yellow which doesn't make sense to me. I tried my theory in Photoshop and didn't have any results at all. I even tried yellow and no results. I did it to the image above and it worked perfectly. Well, it would have if I used the right color of red, but I ain't got time fo' dat! See attached. I'm curious now how the DBZ one works
