Tien (DB-23rd World Tournament)Date: February 2015 Creation Time: 14 Hours Difficulty: 4/10 Head: Popy Tien Torso: Jakks 10th Anniversary BD Goku (best torso I've ever used for a Tien) Legs: Jakks 10th Anniversary SSGogeta Armbands/Left Fist: Jakks BD SSVegito Right Fist: Unknown (Series 5 Trunks?) (Jakks USSTrunks) Modifications: I've been knocking out some quick customs lately. Mostly ones that only require painting and very little sculpting. This was a good example. The only sculpted parts are where the rips of shirt were filled in and the carving and drilling of the crater under his neck, so the head could fit in. The torso I used is the best torso available for making a Tien. It came from the Jakks 10th Anniversary Goku. The reason it looks so good for Tien is because it is wide. If you compared it to the torso Jakks used on their regular Tiens, it is a lot wider and gives off a much bulkier look. Pants came from the 10th Anniversary SSGogeta, while his armbands and left fist came from that useless Jakks BD SSVegito figure with the horrible stance. Then I found an unknown right first to match and from there, it was all paint. I really like this head on him too. Not only does it represent his Dragonball look, but even sort of matches the scene where Tao was going to unleash the Super Dodon Ray and Tien shouts "I'm not Afraid!" with a lot of anger (only in that scene, Tien had already had his shirt cut and removed lol) I painted the shirt a mix of yellow and white, matched his armbands and pants/sash accordingly too. Sanded off the laces on his shoes and shaded his muscle definition, veins in his head and hands. I really focused on the paint job more than usual. I tend to rush a paint job here and there, but this Tien is the perfect example of how well I can paint. Scratch (DBZ-Frieza Saga)Date: February 2015 Creation Time: 2 Hours Difficulty: 2/10 Base: Mini cat figure found on ebay Modifications: I've had a Scratch in my collection since 2005, but it was a horribly painted Irwin Puar and frankly, didn't look like Scratch very much. So I found this on ebay for $2. I removed some eye paint it had and then painted it. That's all. Typically, this is a 1 difficulty custom, but I gave it a 2 because it was tough finding a cat small enough that I know I could perch up on the shoulder of my *coming soon* Dr. Briefs custom.Mousey (DB-Red Ribbon Army Saga)Date: February 2015 Creation Time: 2 Hours Difficulty: 1/10 Base: Mini mouse figure found on ebay Modifications: Found on ebay for $3. He was a blank white color before and I just repainted. Brown body, black eyes, nose, toes, and feet; dark brown tail. And yes, he is a worthy character, unlike most random animals. He saved Goku from General Blue!

I think that Tien's torso is the same as the Jakks Piccolo, but I'm not positive. It's probably engineered inside differently from Piccolo though to hold the Goku arms. Just an assumption though, it could be exactly the same. I love that Tien... it's so awesome. I like Scratch and the mouse too.

Love the Tien man! he looks terrific. Such perfect paint job. I have no clue who the other two are, but they´re cool haha, makes me realize you truly are dedicated to make almost every character in the series. Keep it up!

Thank you! Once I am done with these smaller projects, I really want to make Dr. Briefs. Like within the next month. Plus I can put Scratch on his shoulder then. You know who he is! And Mousey, here's what he did. I had to screenshot it off my computer.

#469: Chiaotzu (Frieza Saga)Date: Started October 2014/Finished February 2015 Creation Time: 15 Hours Difficulty: 5/10 Head: Chara Puchi Chiaotzu Body: Bandai SBC Kid Gohan Halo: I forgot. Modifications: Not my best work, but definitely required at least 75-80% full effort. I don't think I ever posted a WIP on him, but I wish I did. I put a lot of work into him. Specifically, I made his whole body wider from the armpit down to the ankles. It was to address a problem I noticed with the HSCF Chiaotzu and SBC Gohan. They are too skinny and Chiaotzu shouldn't really thin out at all. He's supposed to have a little chubbiness, so that's what I did. In that process, I had to shorten the figure slightly, remove the shoes, and ankle socks Gohan had (he'd be too tall with them) and then added apoxie to both sides of the waist, smoothed it out, sculpted a whole new neck, shirt, shoes, new ankle socks (yes, too thin, but I don't care...better to have a Chiaotzu of proper height than too tall with correct ankle socks) After that, everything got a repaint, and screwed in the halo. He'll go perfect displayed next to my dead Tien and Yamcha from the Frieza Saga. Here's Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu And here's 3 of my Chiaotzus

Nicely done Adam I like that u made him a little thicker cuz like u said the others r on the skinny side and when I think of him I see him the way u have him hear like he hasnt shead his baby weight lol great job. One suggestion u might want to thin the halo a little as it's pretty thick and draws Ur eye to it because of it but it's not that big of a deal IMO.

Hey thanks. I was thinking of that about the halo, but it's sort of a flimsy kind of rubber and unless you make a perfect slice across it, it'll look uneven in places and not very good. So I left it. I agree it's thick, but it emphasizes that they're dead lol As picky as I am, I guess I'll leave it if I can live with it.

Jimmy Firecracker (Cell Games Announcer)Date: February 2015 Creation Time: 12 Hours Difficulty: 5/10 Head: Popy JF Cell Games Announcer Body: 1995 Playmates Star Trek Commander Data Microphone: Lightsaber handle with apoxie mic Modifications: There was a lot of little things to fix on Jimmy that you won't entirely notice if you look at the original body. I had to shorten Jimmy's legs at the thighs, replace Jimmy's head with the Popy Jimmy Firecracker (was convenient to an extent) but I had to sculpt Jimmy a new neck and make Jimmy's opposite-widow's peak larger. I repainted Jimmy's entire face and made Jimmy's pupils bigger too. I had to sculpt over Jimmy's folded jacket area to make it go down the middle, like Jimmy has. I then sculpted over Jimmy's sliced legs and sculpted Jimmy's 'ZTV' patch on Jimmy's left arm. Then sanded all of that and repainted Jimmy's entire suit a dark navy color. For Jimmy's microphone, I didn't go into detail at all really. I took a small lightsaber I had from a Star Wars? figure I got from Branjita and just used that as a base (it kinda looked like it already) then just sculpted the round mic on the end and filled in some spots on the handle. Good enough for me. Jimmy turned out decent! The Popy head is a little big as I mentioned in the WIP, but there was no other choice and I certainly wasn't going to sculpt Jimmy's head from scratch. No, not Jimmy lol Happy to have Jimmy in my collection though. Another one down. PS I will eventually make Jimmy's cameraman, Lionel. Used to be this; Bears who fought Lord Yao (DBGT: Hero's Legacy)Date: February 2015 Creation Time: 3 Hours Each, 6 Total Difficulty: 2/10 Base: Some random bear figures I got on ebay Modifications: You remember these bears. I DON'T MAKE RANDOM ANIMALS and these guys actually played a big role in the GT movie. Not only did Goku Jr. befriend the bear cub, but the mother bear? fought Lord Yao and just before being killed, Goku Jr. turned Super Saiyan. I felt it was worthy enough a role to be made. Once I got the figures in the mail (which I made sure were a good size; Big Bear 4 inches tall, bear cub 2 inches tall) I just gave them a complete new paint job. Painting the face on was a task, but I think it turned out just swell lol The only sculpting required was the bandage wrap on the bear cub's left arm, which also needed paint. Used to be these;
