Yet another subsidiary of Bandai Corporation, Yutaka Brand began it's life in January 1990. During it's 13 year life span, it would produce many lower end toys for numerous properties that fall under the Bandai umbrella including the Super Sentai (Power Rangers) and of course, Dragonball. In March 2003 the Yutaka division would be renamed Popy, resurrecting yet another Bandai company moniker which had been disbanded in the early 80's.
Yutaka would produce a very wide variety of figure types for the franchise in their 13 year life span including articulated "action" figures, Keshi type mini figures, super deformed mini statues and more.
Yutaka Large Scale Articulated Figures
This set includes some of the earliest known articulated Z figures. While the quality , especially in the paint department, is lacking, you have to appreciate the old school charm, and what a long way we've come in the past 20 odd years.
Note: There are a wide variety of packaging variations for their articulated figures including 2 packs and "deluxe" versions that included smaller Keshi style characters.
