Gee, better than I ever expected! Looks amazing, overall. Even the usually ugly hands turned out great! How do you resculpt faces? I've tried and fail every time. *Edit* Happy 300th post to me! Well, I carved off the eyebrows with my x-acto knife and cut the mouth the same way. I then sanded for a very long time with my manicure tool to make everything smooth. For the eyebrows I know I had to sculpt new ones, but I think I managed to not have to sculpt any of the mouth... not sure though... this figure has been on my table a long time. |

Nope, but I just took the photos and I'm going out of my &$@#ing mind. The pics are so cool! I can't wait to post them tomorrow morning. If you guys don't go insane, I will be so disappointed, because I think I just finished two of my best customs ever.

Well, if they're in the early in the morning, I'll get to see them. Otherwise, it'll be later in the day after school. I'm excited to see! I wish my customs would turn out as great as some I see here, but I think one of my favorite things about our site is seeing other people's work. Just make me feel inspired!

Namek Saga Gohan in armorDifficulty: 9/10 How to make: I made this figure entirely from scrap because I wanted to have him in my collection to go with my Krillin in armor. The head is from Burger King Gohan, torso from some bootleg Turles figure, arms from Burger King Gohan, fists from AB Tapion, pants and feet from Burger King series 2 Krillin. I dremeled the hell out of the pants and boots and basically just used them as a base underneath a bunch of apoxie. The arms had to be modified a lot to actually be articulated underneath those shoulder pads. I added articulation at the neck, waist, and arms. I am super happy with how he turned out, and he was very difficult as I usually don't go through so much reduction on existing parts just to sculpt over them. I also had to fill some casting imperfections on Gohan's head. And obviously, sculpt the ring around his waist, which was at least easier than usual since I had him cut in half. I had this wind blown Jakks Goku head and loved the sculpt of it and wanted to use it. So after sorting EVERYTHING else out I want to make, I went through the parts that remained and was able to put together a body for him. The head is the Jakks wind blown Goku head, the torso is from Jakks spirit bomb Goku, arms from Irwin SS3 Goku, fists I think from Irwin series 3 Krillin, torn shirt from Real Works bootleg Tien, belt from bootleg HSCF Saiyan Saga Gohan's head, legs from Irwin series 7 Goku, and boots from Irwin series 5 SS Goku I believe. After going through the engineering process to make things fit and work together, I started by sculpting over the horrible looking torso, but sculpting clothing isn't my specialty and I didn't like the way it looked. I sculpted boot laces and then sent the figure to Adrenaline who sculpted the shirt for me. He also sculpted the bottom portion of the pant rips and the ripped sleeves and did a really great job. After getting it back from him, I really didn't need to do much. I sculpted the top portion of the pant rips because I felt like they didn't look like rips without a top portion. I then sanded things and got to work repainting every single thing. The paint job was very difficult. Very, very difficult. Thankfully I was able to paint each part separately. If the figure was sculpted shut, I would not have been able to do such a good job. This might be one of my best customs ever, if not the best. I thought about painting him with every color shifted toward red so he'd look like he had a red Kaioken glow around him, but it really wasn't worth it, he looked so cool I didn't want to give him awful colors. I took a video last night of the figure in that incredible pose. I can't believe he was able to balance like that. I didn't dare touch him LOL

 That gif........that scene..........that custom....TAKE THAT, FIGUARTS. This is my new face when you finish customs.  That Goku was at least on your table for 6+ months...and it was worth it, because he is perfect. You may not produce as many customs as I, but it's hard to match the quality you put into them. Your phone, or mine, clearly made his shirt and belt look darker when I saw him yesterday because it looks right now. Such a cool gif! And balance act. Thank you, Frieza. I really, really like him. The pant rips I did look great and you pretty much matched them on top. Good thing I didn't remember to do that or else you couldn't have sculpted inside. What really sets him apart is the paint job on the face. It's not matchable and just exactly right. I remember when I had him, I put the head in a safe place to keep it from scratching, getting dusty, or risking any marks. It's perfect. He is DEFINITELY in your top 3 because of the sincerity of the moment he represents. He is Nappa/Burter material and that's saying a lot! Wait, he could be your BEST....once you put a BD SSGoku head on him....DO IT...I wanna see. Gohan is the perfect example of what I like about customs. You can make a gem from crap LOL. My Mutatio is my best representation of that and this is one of yours. I've never really liked the BK Gohan head much, but you did well in matching this scene below. The eye-liner might be a tad thick in my eyes, no pun intended, and the boots a little clunky, but it's clearly overmatched by the rest of the effort that went into him. Absolutely, top-notch paint job, especially on that armor. Damn. Awesome, awesome, awesome job. STOP making me jealous. BD Goku 10/10 Kid Gohan 9.3/10 Look, it's your Gohan. Attachment Deleted

Dang bran these r great and I love all the pictures especially goku's the gohan looks perfect with krillin and that Burger King head really turned out well. I'm surprised he was so much work I didn't think u were going to have to do that much to him to get him to look that good. I love the picture of him krillin vegeta and piccolo all on a line like that. I still can't get over that krillin in armor u made he's prob the best or at least my fav krillin of all time he's beyond perfect. That at goku man what can I say besides he's like the coolest goku u have made to date IMO that head works so well with that battle damaged look. And man those pictures with frieza are epic those just made my day I love getting on here and seeing new customs posted but especially urs because u always post lots of great pictures. Like u said its pretty crazy u were able to get goku and frieza into that pose long enough to take the pic. How many times did they fall over before u got the pic lol. Great work buddy I can't wait to see that ss2 gohan finished  |

U got really lucky then cuz I usually have trouble getting figures to stand straight up for pictures lol they look great in that pose though and goku's power up gif thing is really cool
