Bulma is simply amazing. When I was reading how much time it took, I was thinking "It can't be in the same league as Nappa, Burter and my boys, Goz and Mez. Can't be. But it is. Even with all of the WIP pics I saw before these final ones. Amazing. I'd rank her as your 3rd best. Nappa and Burter only win because they're more prominent and identifiable characters. I can't see a flaw with Bulma....too dark of a pink maybe? Idk, she's just a great all around figure. 9.9/10 Kid Goku is nice. So glad you took him off the base. Like Burger King figures, he looks like it was a pain to paint. Only I bet he didn't take paint as good. Good powerpole effects. My only complaint is that I'd have kept the original location of the pupils. Not a big prob though. 9.2/10 Korin is a 9.5/10 I was just playing around because his head is accurately big like every other small character in DB Your DB collection is looking cool. I'm jealous of Shuu and Bulma in particular. I may have more in total, but whenever you decide to work on the new Yamcha, can I get the repainted model one from you in that pic?

The biggest problem on Goku was mixing that complicated periwinkle purple/blue gi color. I made a whole bunch of it (had to, because I had such a hard time mixing the color), and had to be extremely careful not to mess it up at any point after that batch dried on my paint tray, because I could never match that color if I had to again. Korin isn't as big bodied as he is in many scenes, especially in DB, but I actually prefer him kind of thin like this. I didn't sculpt him enough bulk under his left butt cheek as I should have, but I didn't notice until it was too late for me to care anymore. I think you can buy the sword swinging Yamcha from me when I finish the other Yamcha. I have to keep the sword though. It isn't the one that came with the figure anyway, it's an Irwin one from when they included random weapons with AB and SBC figures. I plan on making the new Yamcha capable of holding it.

That's fine with me.
Luckily you can away with things like that on Korin and other small characters.

I absolutely love Bulma! She's truly a work of art. The hours of work aid off. Korin and Goku are great as well! As always, excellent paint jobs!

Kid Gohan in orange gi for dbzunboundDifficulty: 3/10 How to make: This was a quick commission custom I made for dbzunbound. It was originally just going to be a head swap, but evolved into adding symbols, lengthening a sword, repainting, etc. Between 4 and 5 hours were involved I suppose, and almost all of that was because of the sword. I should have charged a little more . I started with a Jakks Gohan and legit Chara Puchi Gohan I bought from Timone317. I removed the original head, and did the hot glue method for attaching the CP head. After that I cut out symbols I already had printed, glued them on, and started lengthening the sword that came on the back of the CP Gohan with apoxie sculpt. Then I sanded the sword pretty flat, coated it with super glue on all 4 sides to reenforce it, painted it, glued on the string, painted some more, cleared the sword, and it was done. Overall, a custom anybody could do (other than the sword perhaps) and it looks really nice. Since the Chara Puchi Gohan was a legit one, I matched the gold on the sword to the original colors Bandai used instead of using the mustard yellow I used on my Gohan. I didn;t offer to do the boot detailing, because that would have been an ordeal that may not have looked very good (specifically the red string) and when he's not next to mine, he looks great without it! My Gohan was made from a bootleg DWC Angel Goku and a bootleg CP Gohan head. I was lazy and didn't repaint the skin or eyes entirely on mine but did repaint the hair since the bootleg had dark gray hair. Luckily I didn't have to do any of these things to dbzunbound's Gohan. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6371.jpgTurning pics... i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6362.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6369.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6368.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6367.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6366.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6365.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6364.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6363.jpg

He's great! Perfect detailing of the sword, sheath, and strap. And a better body than the DWC one we used unfortunately. Only complaint I have are the whites of the eyes not being inside enough and behind the pupils. But I'm sure dbzunbound will love it.

I think the one for dbzunbound is a more fun figure to own for sure, but I like the DWC one for my collection! He looks nice! And it's especially nice because the body is from that set of 4 DWC bootlegs that you got, that ended up really rare and hard to find. The set that came on green and red opaque bases. I remember Android 16 was one of the 4. They were painted with nice, thick semigloss paint that the generic DWC bootlegs weren't.

That's right. Your Gohan body was originally the Angel Goku I sent you. My Kid Gohan was made with the more opaque bootleg.

Great work. Seeing that body with the new head makes me regret getting rid of mine. The sheathed sword is perfect

16" The Saga Continues (The Best of DBZ) GokuDifficulty: 2/10 (this was a repaint of something I already repainted 11 or 12 years ago) How to make: I started with the super rare Best of DBZ version of this already super rare figure. The 16" The Saga Continues version was released in only the US/Canada by Bandai America in 1997. The Best of DBZ version... I don't really know when and where it was released. I bought it online in 2002 or 2003. It came with yellow hair, green eyes heavily outlined in black, and a skin color I wasn't fond of, so I pretty much immediately repainted it. Since then, it has been a part of my collection, but my painting skills have come a long way and I didn't use clear back in those days to protect the paint from chipping, so I wanted to freshen it up. So that's what I did. I repainted everything with two fresh coats of paint and then I added a layer of clear. Since clear tends to make streaks on large areas of black, I went ahead and painted 1 more layer of black without clear on it just to have a nice, solid black finish. I'm going to try to sell this figure, because I don't collect large figures. His arms, hands, waist, and boots are articulated. The hands and boots are removable. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6474-1.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6390.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6389.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6388.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6387.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6386.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6385-1.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6380.jpgEdit: This was sold to "danmx.z1g3u" on ebay for $82 in December, 2014.

Shirtless NappaDifficulty: 3/10 How to make: I started with a piece of crap bootleg of the Dragon Ball Kai Super Effect Action Pose Nappa. The bootlegs of this set flat out sucked, and I had to buy the entire set in order to get the Gohan. The paint jobs on these were so cheap, which is why they suck so bad. It's like the bootlegger couldn't afford paint, at least with my set, which was far worse than the "before" picture I am using for comparison. So in order to sell this figure, I decided to repaint it. I knew going into this that repainting a bootleg can be a wasted effort. It takes a lot of work to make it awesome, and awesome doesn't sell for much more than "good", so I settled for "good". So what I did was enlarge the hole in his ass so the pole would actually go in, because it wouldn't. I changed the way it would go in and shortened it so Nappa wouldn't be floating so high in the air. I wanted his face to actually show, and didn't want him to be looking down. I removed his legs and changed the way they were positioned. I removed casting flaws the bootlegger left, particularly on the energy blast. I repainted the brown accents gold. I repainted the black (sloppy as hell) armor navy blue. I repainted the tail so it would look nicer. I repainted the underwear and details on the face black. I wasn't going to do this, but I did go ahead and use some of my expensive clear on top to protect the paint. This figure isn't up to my usual standards, because I didn't want to spend 4 times the amount of time making him awesome just to get $2 more. I'm going to list him on ebay for cheap and I hope to get $10. He's Real Works scale, so I hope a Real Works collector will purchase him and add him to their collection. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6413.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6412.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6411.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6409.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6408.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6407.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6406.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6405.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6404.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6403.jpg

Man, too bad that Goku is so big. He is painted so well! Just perfect except the gold laces.
Gohan is still ugly but that's Jakks' fault. At least you gave him the proper boots. His mouth looks like he is bleeding lol
Nappa is better, surprisingly. I know you didn't give him the typical Bran-job, but he should sell for something.
