Awesome job Branjita!! It's so amazing to see you can create any character from the bottom, fit with the rest of the figures (size) and make them look pretty good! That's a lot of work you have put in into it. :> Congratulations!!

The head sculpt is phenomenal! And, like always, the paint job is awesome!

Thanks guys, for those who don't know, he's about 2 to 2.5 inches tall or about half the size he is in the pics if you're on the computer.
Only reason I'm saying that is to explain why the edges aren't as clean on the mouth and such as most of my customs, he's pretty small, like irwin Goten and Trunks.

Ooh...Shuu...it came out pretty...coo. It looks great but as always I wish you had included a comparison pic with an Irwin Goku or something.

Great job bran! Any chance you have a Mai and pilaf in the works that you might wanna show?

I haven't started either of them yet. Not sure I want to make a pilaf because I can't find a cheap cp head and I already own a pilaf that kind of works. Timone, I think Shuu comes to just above irwin or jakks Goku's knee.

HG GokuDifficulty: 4/10 How to make: I received this Goku with the clear stand super glued to his foot. In fact, all of the pieces on the figure are super glued, it would have been a lot easier to fix if I could have removed the feet from the legs like the figure normally allows. I had to boil the figure to remove the stand and pulling it off removed the paint as I thought it would. I had to sand the remaining super glue and paint off carefully, and then I went through the difficult process of matching the orange paint job and shading on the pant legs. I blended it into the other paint so it wouldn't be visible, so I repainted more than I needed to. I decided to repaint the boots to be accurate to the Frieza saga since I both prefer that boot style, and because he has the Goku kanji on his gi, just like Frieza saga. It turned out really good. It was very difficult to repaint as this figure is only about 3 inches tall, while most figures I work on are about 5 inches tall. When I brushed on the clear coat, it smeared some of the yellow and blue a bit, but not too bad. Sometimes it does that because it contains thinner (paint remover). The photos I'm showing are not taken any different from my 5 inch customs, so you're getting a super up close look, and no, I didn't do any photoshop corrections, I really blended the orange that well. I also added some hot glue to the bottom of his boots so he would be able to stand more level and not need the stand for his foot at all. The unmodified figure normally needs his stand as he has a tendency to fall forward. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6242.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6244.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6243.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6241.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6240.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_6246.jpgSome HG scale fantastically well with each other. I'd say these are all accurate to the anime. This is how tall and big Trunks is next to Goku when he arrives, and after he gets out of a time chamber (he grew taller).

The painting of the boots came out flawless. If I didn't know they were painted I would say they were factory done.

So he didn't come apart? Because he's painted so well, you'd guess you painted the pieces separately. Great work! And I love the scale of those too.

Battle of Gods Pilaf, Shuu, and MaiDifficulty: 4/10 How to make: I made these several months ago (I mean... we're talking MONTHS AGO, I finished these in early December), but because I thought I might use them in a Scene Stealer 4 contest entry (and I did), I kept them a complete secret until now. The BOG WCF bootleg figures are what I used, and these WCF bootlegs are not amazing. They are good sculpts, but the quality control on them was not as good as others I have purchased. They had a lot of casting flash I had to cut and sand off, and their paint jobs were not good. And... just like the legit figures... not all of the colors matched what colors were actually used in the movie! So I had to repaint them. I hate using bases, but I did like that these figures came with poles that go into their backs, because otherwise their tiny feet make them difficult to stand up. The poles were a real annoyance to insert, as the holes were not big enough. I'm glad I used them. Before and After comparisons (technically I have an unmodified set of figures next to my finished figures... these aren't actually before and afters of the same exact figures): Keep in mind these photos show the figures at 2 or 3 times their actual size, they are only about 2 inches tall. Pilaf had so many paint color mistakes and so much casting flash that I repainted everything except for the star on his hat, I just touched that up. On Shuu, he had a big chunk missing from his forehead so I filled that. His outfit needed a ton of details added. I tried to touch up what I could on him instead of repaint every little thing. So while I did repaint all of his orange fur, I just tried to clean up his beige fur on his face a bit. I redid all of his white details completely because they were crap. They also did not even paint his hands or undershirt sleeves. On Mai I repainted everything except her skin on her face, belt, hair, and eyes. I did touch up the eyes, add some shading to her face in areas, and touch up the hair. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5793.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5800.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5799.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5798.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5797.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5796.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5795.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5794.jpgAs you can see, some WCF/DWC bootlegs are really great quality, I mean, Mai practically looks legit, and Pilaf and Shuu only have minor paint flaws. The Battle of Gods WCF bootlegs weren't up to that standard. This Bulma no longer exists, I improved her scarf and repainted her for my scene. i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5802.jpg
