So there was never a SBC Yamcha or Tien made? Wonder what made me think there was. No sir, there's an AB Yamcha though. You could probably make a Yamcha/Tien from SBC. |

kakarot, it pains me to see you get to play with your sbc 3pack. im so tempted to take them out of the box and just mess with them. *sigh* looks like i need to buy another one just to mess with.

Another big thanks goes to Saiyen! I have wanted to own this little guy for quite some time now. It would appear he is becoming quite scarce to find thesedays, so I am happy to add him to my collection - when I find the goddam key to the display cabinent! He was in quite a state when I got him, a real fixer upper. I don't usually go for used or damaged figures but I had to make an exception in this case and I'm really glad I did. Whipped up some custom paint colours and you'd never know I was there! "Don't judge me. I was going through a phase!"   |

Super 13 has always been a rare figure, did you get him for less than $100? Back when I sold both of mine in I guess 2005, I sold one for $100 and the other for $125. Cool figure, and definitely the hardest to find 5 inch AB figure, and not just because Kidz Biz and Irwin didn't rerelease him.

If I'm not mistaken it seems you used flat colors and it appears to have minimized the glossy appearance of the original...it looks really nice.

You're right T, good eye. I didn't exactly get much of a choice in the matter - seeing as I had to custom mix each individual colour from scratch, in order to perfectly match the original paint. Some colours required as many as five different tones to recreate. So, flat acrylics were my only option. I do still plan on sealing him with some gloss varnish to achieve that factory shine.

Yep! I've got two of them . One of each, both British and American releases. UK pressing is a Swan Song label and the US pressing is an OG Atlantic label. One is blue-ish and the other is much more redder, can't say why exactly - they just are. They're actually right next to 13's head. That's about an 8'th of one shelf, of which there are 3. Well, I found the key to the display cabinet. And so, I completely re-organised the shelf. New additions include AB Super 13 and Kami, plus SBC SS Gotenks. I'm pretty happy with how it is arranged, for now. I do still plan on adding a lot more to this shelf but it is definitely a challenge to find more space. Enjoy!  |
