We got hit in the floods here in 2011. Luckily most of my stuff was upstairs.

So if the giant spiders, sharks, jellyfishes, and snakes don't kill you the weather will. I'm joking, good that none of your stuff got mess up. I do remember that flood though, my bf actually let go of his hate and donated money to help victims.
@ Eis: It was years ago but it was my childhood home so I do miss it. A lot of my mom's antique stuff was ruined but my stuff was fine as was the farthest from the damage. Makes me a bit cautious about having a basement but there aren't many houses with them in Florida anyways so it doesn't matter haha.

Marvel Legends...the new Star Wars Black Series (incredible six inch versions of Star Wars characters)...Gundam stuff (mostly G Gundam)...a few Figuarts/D-Arts/Figma figures...and anything else I see that looks cool.

Yeah, I've had my eye on that Black Series too... I collected Star Wars for years and finally got out of it, but it's like a whirlpool; if the Black Series sucks me in I'll never get out and I've got too much to keep up with as it is. If I can restrain myself from buying them all I may just cherry pick and buy one that I really like here and there.

DC comics and figures, WWE figures, other anime figures. I used to collect a lot more (Transformers, Star Wars, etc) but sold most of it off Not sure if you're a bat fan but they're releasing a beautiful new 52 version nightwing that I definitely plan on picking up!

I wish I had enough willpower to ignore the entire series and hold onto my money but it pulled me in quick. The urge to have Star Wars figures that can fit in with the rest of my collection was too great.

I collect
Anime DVDS (the more rare and unknown the better but still collect normal) Anime figures ( i TRY to avoid jointed figures and gashapon) Misc video game and comic figures (Like my Galactus Hero CLick) Video games (very picky with what i buy and the second a collection is announce i sell all games i own from said collection) posters Chaotic cards (I AM MISSING ONLY 7 CARDS, if you have them please let me know, they arent worth much but they are rare and i will trade or buy them from you)
I used to collect other kinds of Cards but i'm only doing chaotic now, the rest sit in a box waiting to be gotten rid of

Other than DB, what kind of other stuff (if any) do you guys collect? Anybody have another toyline on the side they're into, or maybe a stamp or a baseball card collection? To kick things off, I'll tell you guys the stuff I'm into on a steady, collector basis. 1. Masters of the Universe Classics - Been collecting these since the line officially started in December of '08 and have subscribed every year since. 2. Silver Bullion - Rounds, bars, ingots...nice to have something like that around because hey, you never know. 3. World Coins - I'm into coins from all over. Don't have to be rare or expensive or contain a precious metal, any old coins will do. 4. WWII Memorabilia - Badges, metals, insignias, gear...sometimes I go for authentic, sometimes reproductions, just depends on the circumstances. 5. D&D Stuff - Miniatures and 3.5 Edition books and supplements mostly. 6. Diamond Select Universal Monsters - Almost didn't include these guys as I often go several months or more without buying any, but then I'll pick up two or three at a time. Ah, you've fallen into the MOTUC money trap as well I see, lol. I collect those, Video Games and merchandise, Mage Knight, and G.I. Joe comics.

Between October and November Mattel the Mighty's getting nearly $900 out of me.

I am not a fan of the New 52. I actually stopped collecting comics using the reboot as an end. I would love to get some (who are we kidding...all) of the new 6" Star Wars figures but Star Wars figures and I have a love/hate relationship. I get the itch to buy and even though I say only certain ones I always end up getting them all. I have bought and sold off Star Wars collections 3 times now and just can't bring myself to start again, even if they are finally in the 6" scale lol

Like Boddah, I too collect vinyl LPs. Purely vintage pressings only. I don't understand the appeal of owning a new pressing of an old album on vinyl. To me, that's not only redundant but the epitome of defeatism. You may as well just buy a CD. I currently own something like 300 hundred albums in my collection.
While I don't consider this a "collection" per se, I do still own my original nintendo, super nintendo and 64. Plus, I also own all the incarnations of the Playstation too. I've been meaning to start collecting nes cartriges for a while now, so that's probably me next thing to do. I even drafted a list of the games I aspire to own.
I also own several vintage BMXs which I have restored to OG condition. They make for a fantastic and unusual display piece, plus they are a very equitable investment if you are looking to invest then resell. If I sold my bikes tomorrow I could probably buy a brand entry level car.

I'm the same way about repressings, but I do buy new current albums that are released on vinyl just because I hate CD's. I had the same video game setup plus the two Xbox platforms, but sadly the PS3 and OG Xbox burned up and I just sold my n64 and Ps2 so I could get a replacement 360 :/
