Hello friends I bought DeAgostini Kibitoshin to replace my art of fusion one. The irwin/jakss was too tall and the face... no comments! I repainted the eyes but i think they are too big and look crazy. It was my first try so... I have to improve my skills and try again! The thruth is i don't like either of them so i don't know what to do about kibitoshin... I'm waiting for the ab toys one too. I found it for 10 euros so i did not think twice. But from what I could see the paint job is really bad... Well, We will see!  I also found the Atlas old kaio shin for my buu saga collection. I Found a lot of new 5" figures for my collection so i will make an uptade soon!   EDIT:New eyes! What do you think?  EDIT 2:I received Kibitoshin from abtoys today. Here is a picture of the three versions. Let's be honest: 3 bad figures!  For now, the DeAgostini one is the one i'm keeping for my buu saga shelf. But I have to add the two potaras on his ears!  |

jibi what do you not like about the DeAgostini Kibitoshin? I've owned all three that you have, and to me, it's basically perfect, so I'm curious what you don't like about him. The AB and Kidz Biz reissued Kibitoshins are okay, but both of them are colored wrong, and too beefy (he looks too muscular/fat). I can't believe you found the AB one for only $10! That was a $60 figure in 2002. I would assume it would be very expensive now. The Jakks one is way too large. I think he's probably even too large for Figuarts collectors, but I'm not sure about that anymore.

But, yeah, it's the best version of kibitoshin so far! I'm thinking of selling the other two... not sure yet. What do you think about my painting? Bad? Better than the original? If you have any advice, don't hesitate! I will add the earrings soon. Their absence bothers me... |

I think your painting looks so good that I'm not even sure what you did. I'd have to look at the one I own to know what you changed.

Here are my latest customs. Easy stuff but great for my collection! I'm glad that i managed to keep all the neck's articulations! What head is on your Bojack Movie SS2 Gohan?
The SBC Vegeta with thigh armor looks amazing! What figure did you get the thigh armor off of??
I love the Giochi Preziosi teen Gohan in blue outfit with Jakks head!!

Branjita Thanks! The head of my Bojack Movie SS2 Gohan is a bootleg chara puchi one. Not perfect but (for know) i'm okay with it. About Vegeta, i use parts of the super dragon star vegeta! The truth is, you give me the idea!  Thanks to your review of vegeta + nappa super dragon star. I remember saying to mysef something like "Oh, i surely can use the belt on my super battle collection vegeta to complete the armor! I must try it" Haha! So, I found a super dragon star vegeta not too expensive, I kept some parts (belt and scooter), and I sold the rest! Maybe one day i will find the jakks full saiyan armor vegeta but in the meantime this custom is a great and easy alternative. I'm happy with it!
