Hey y'all, new here and I've got a question about this Vegeta figure I've had for quite a while (I think I got him in '99 or '00):
I remember on the packaging that they'd made a Goku companion figure, meant to recreate this scene if you had both:
I'm wondering who actually made these, since I can never find this specific Goku--any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes they did make them. They are from the Bandai USA 1997 series. Both the large Goku and Vegeta figures were released. Very hard to find but they do pop up from time to time.

Irwin never re-released that figure. The only release of that Vegeta that I am aware of was by Bandai America in 1997. There's a possibility that Bandai HK released it in the eastern part of the world, but I'm not 100% sure if they did or not. Bandai HK definitely released the same Bandai America 1995 DragonBall 2.5 inch figures that were released in the US, so that's what makes me wonder about these. Regardless, I know Irwin never released that figure.
There's a bootleg of the Goku from that set and he has yellow hair and green eyes. Surprisingly, the bootleg of that figure is crazy rare compared to the authentic one. And these authentic Goku and Vegeta figures are pretty rare themselves.
