Krillin - Battle Uniform (S.H. Figuarts)

I saw this image on Facebook, I assume by Tamashii. He looks good, but you know what really looks good? Dodoria and Zarbon with Frieza. I'll never fully understand or support the notion that small characters should be made larger than they should be, so Gohan and Krillin look pretty silly in this photo with other figures that aren't enlarged.

I got mine a few days ago, and wow! His head! It’s so so big.
They really should have scaled down either the size of the Gohan and Krillin figures like at least 10ish percent, or just made the heads of both smaller. You can’t really put him with Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta or Freeza and the scaling not immediately appear off.

Also wished he or Freeza form 2 came with a magnetic accessory or something for when Freezas shish-ka-bobbing him. And maybe a happy face? He and Gohan are very expressive, including happiness, in this era.

The mold is beautiful, the expressions are great, but yeah, the head is just far too big.

Can someone post a pic of this Krillin next to the orange gi one? I saw one a few weeks ago, but forgot to save it and post it here. It really surprised me just how much larger this Krillin's head is than the other one... and the other one already looks out of place with Goku, Vegeta, etc. due to his inaccurately massive head.

i'm not surprised they F'd it up, they always do... why no consistency?

the only arguement for it to be so BIG! is the odd scenes where his / their ( krillin and Gohan) head (s) do appear quite large, i cant access my manga now so cant see how theyre drawn in there , but its evident that they arent supposed to look so stupid.

even though sometimes their heads appear to be larger, they arent supposed to be!... Toriyama was tryin to knock out a chapter ASAP so preportions might have slipped here and there and in the anime sometimes character designs are loosley used and preportions and perspectives arent accurate, and also its possible that some episodes are given to different studios to do to keep up with schedules etc so different animators did stuff slightly different...

the point is that Krillin and gohans heads - no matter what saga - are not supposed to be that much bigger than gokus. gohans may appear to be becuase of the preportions of childs body to head especially in manga/ anime but its not supposed to look ridiculous ( like the saiyan saga one they released - mine went straight on ebay)

Such a weird decision they made. I have to group it under the “I appreciate this figure exists, of which there is no other of its kind from any other company, but due to quality issues I can’t get it” category.
