Yea I wouldn't pay more than 1200 either. But I'll have to postpone buying them until I finish paying for the figuarts I have preordered

So guys, which Goku/scene do you think this figure of sCultures 4 is based of? I would say it looks like he is supposed to be in SSJ2, and he reminded me to the one who fought vs Kid Buu and near the last scene of the spirit bomb (because of the torn clothes), but the pose doesn't match, so it may not be either. And I don't think it's based on the battle vs Freeza, he didn't have that many spikes of hair, it was more simple.

The style of battle damage (full blue shirt remaining with torn parts of pants) and the style of belt (tie, not sash) pretty much confirms this as being from his battle with Freeza. I agree that the hair is not really accurate to the drawings at that time, but I guess it's just a later art style representation of that moment. Actually reminds me of this episode end in particular, from Episode 99: "Go to hell, Freeza!!" Goku fires his Kamehameha while Mr. Popo summons Shenron on Earth, as the narrator asks who will win the greatest conflict in the universe. I have no idea if this was in the manga or not though. EDIT: I actually realized that the only time Goku was a Super Saiyan with a tie belt was against Freeza, so it has to be from the Freeza fight.

Owwwwwwwwwww, you're probably right. I didn't see the detail of the belt instead of the sash. So everything but the hair indicates that this figure is based on the battle vs Freeza. The figure looks better and is bigger than I expected, but I will pass if it represents the scene with Freeza because I already have the Ichiban Kuji figure. I would have prefered this one: SSJ2? vs Kid Buu

I don't care for Pan as a character but that figure is kind of cool. She won't be the first female character I buy, but I might get her one day.
As for the Goku figure, it initially bothered me that his skin is unscathed, but the more I look at the figure the more I want it. Really bad.

Is that Super Saiyan 1 or 2? When he powers up after the wish to Porunga? I always thought it was SS1. I agree though that something in that pose would be pretty cool.

It's SS and from Namek for sure. He could also be from one of the Cooler movies I think too. Adrenaline would know.
