I grabbed one on Ebay for collection purposes. Pro's: - Fixed the lazy eye on the smirk face and the 3 lines on the ends of the eyebrows. - Fixed the screaming face's eye/eye brows. - Darker Gi colors. - Less glossy than the original.
- Belt different shade of blue than under shirt. - 2 SSJ Faces and hair. - Semi-Translucent blue ki blast, opposed to yellow. - New box design. - New figure smell. Con: - 1.0 Body (AGH!!! But I get it). - SSJ hair is a repaint (SSJ/2 bang should be on the opposite side). Youtube review |

Good post. Why did they go with 1.0 bodies for the SDCC’s? You’d think that a premium SHF brand would come with the latest toy-tech. Is it cost-savings by utilizing an old inventory of legacy 1.0 Goku/ Ultimate Gohan bodies?

Good post. Why did they go with 1.0 bodies for the SDCC’s? You’d think that a premium SHF brand would come with the latest toy-tech. Is it cost-savings by utilizing an old inventory of legacy 1.0 Goku/ Ultimate Gohan bodies? Kind regards Because exclusives are always repaints of regular figures. They never released a 2.0 Gohan, so the exclusive has a 1.0 body. |

But isn’t the A Saiyan Raised On Earth Goku body the same?Wouldn’t it’ve been a better choice for an “exclusive?” The mold exists. I just don’t see any reason to use a 1.0 in a 2019 SDCC exclusive. It just seems backwards to me. |
