Balrog's Customs (Vegetto Black - P16)

Hi everyone!

I updated my Buu Saga Fusion display, it's just waiting for a proper Kid Trunks now!



And I also whipped up a custom figure of Android 14 to join my Android 15 old figure.. something tells me Android 13 may join them some time in the future..

My "DBZ Movies Figures" display is getting much larger than I anticipated, I may not be able to share the same shelf for Dragon Ball and these much longer.

I have some more big characters planned so I'll have to find a way!

In the mean time, here's an updated picture of my Cooler custom who got a better head (you can see the old version in a previous picture in this thread) and a full body repaint. I daresay it makes him look.. cooler.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragements, it drives me to continue working on my customs and trust me there's plenty more I want to tackle before I'm done!

I recently assembled a Figure-rise Piccolo and I wasn't going to use his cape but since that figure is a little larger than SH Figuarts scale I immediately thought it might fit Super Buu to make a decent Buucolo.

Lo and behold, I think it works pretty nicely!



Of course a real accurate Buucolo is going to require a modified faceplate (he has a pointy nose) and a larger and longer "horn / head tail" but until I improve to tackle that or Demoniacal Fit releases his Buutenks sculpt, this will do for now. 

And here's a fun little project I whipped up the last couple days, a little sculpture of Gregory made from scratch with epoxy resin and some bendy metal wire. He's a little larger than he should be but too small would have limited the expression and pose so I went for a personal take on him. I hope you like him too!

I've made a few improvements to my Buu Saga display again..

First I replaced the head of Kaioshin so now both he and Kibito look like they belong in a SH Figuarts collection.. 



I also gave Mr. Satan a new face so he looks happy to have survived through all this with his newfound friend, Buu. I know the Scultures Buu is a little too small compared to the SH Figuarts enormous Fat Buu, but in my mind it's because all the evil that was inside him has been purged (Evil Buu, plus all the humans he ate) and so that explains why he's a little less big.



And finally, I also made a Kid Trunks custom to join my Goten custom, now the display features both kids, exhausted from their training with the fusion, and their teachers behind them. He's made from a Kid Goku body with Trunks boots and fully repainted (skin and clothes since Trunks is a little more tan than Goku and Goten). I repainted the head since that's a SSJ faceplate, recolored the eyes and the eyebrows and gave him a little more smirk to fit Kid Trunks better.

I also replaced the head of my Z Sword / Kai Gohan since I prefer him in SSJ form for this outfit (in the back behind Super Buu).

Hi again everyone!

A while ago I decided it should be possible to customize a Figure-rise Perfect Cell into a decent Semi-Perfect Cell for SH Figuarts scale.. it seemed simple enough compared to some more ambitious projects, the two designs are fairly similar, just a lot of repainting and some epoxy resin sculpting for a few parts of the body.. except the tail.

I present to you Semi-Perfect Cell.





The tail gave me trouble, I had a few attempts but in the end I think I found a good solution with an electrical cable cut to fit, then hollowed out (partly) to allow for the insertion of bendable metal wires along the length. This allowed me to bend it into a suitable shape. The rest was some sculpting for the stinger and paint for the whole thing... In the end I'm quite happy with it.

Here's a zoomed out shot at the Android Saga display (with the Saiyan Saga and Super Display, roughly half of my collection), gives better scale of the size of this Semi-Perfect Cell.



I hope you'll like this one too, and I really hope we'll soon get a nice Imperfect Cell figure or at least a solid base figure to start with to customize one!
