I got Piccolo, though I'm not too crazy on the changes they've made to the construction, it doesn't feel like it moves quite as nice as the previous ones what are, but overall it's still a pretty good figure.

Hopefully mine gets delivered today and is waiting for me when I get home. I can't wait to see it and take some comparison pics.
I'm a bit bummed that none of the Targets in my area show Ultimate Gohan as being in stock. I would have liked to have reviewed both of them tonight together. Someone messaged DBF on Instagram and mentioned they found Ultimate Gohan a few days ago at Target in Mobile, AL. So he is definitely out. It just depends on who has gotten their inventory shipments in I guess. I think Target has regional distribution centers or something, and obviously, Mobile, AL wouldn't be the same center as what Texas uses.

Raditz and Captain Ginyu would be too small to scale well with other figures (since they are pretty large characters) if they were made in Evolve instead of Dragon Stars. But are you wanting them in this line specifically for how much better the articulation is on Evolve figures than Dragon Stars figures? At this point, my most desired figures for the Evolve line (that I think are realistic based on what has been made already) are: SS2 Kefla, Android 17, and SS Rose Goku Black. My less realistic, most desired figures are actually: base Caulifla, base Kale, SS2 Kefla. The figure I am shocked we don't have yet is: Super Saiyan God Goku. Here's a pic of Irwin Raditz in the Evolve blister. He fits, but not sure if he would with the other piece that would hold him in place.

aquamarina The UI Sign Goku figure (black hair) was released in 2019 in series 3 with SSB Gogeta and SS Future Trunks. In other news... the 20 Target stores nearest me still don't have Ultimate Gohan. I walked into 2 of them on Friday just to make sure brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker?sku=323-08-8900 wasn't lying to me... but they still don't have any there. In fact, both Targets I visited are completely out of Evolve figures. They pegs are still there and labeled for Dragon Ball, but they are empty. Neither of these Targets have gotten any new DB SHF in several months either. Tons of Demon Slayer stuff and the Naruto figures that are similar to Evolve, but sheesh, I am getting impatient

Yesterday (10/21/23), Ultimate Gohan was available for shipping on Target's website. www.target.com/p/dragon-ball-super-gohan-special/-/A-88819411It said there were only two available, so I ordered both, and surprisingly the order went through. I ordered both in case one wasn't painted well or had some other issue. I want to review a good one on DBF. All 20 of the nearest stores say they don't have him when I use the (now) functional store locator on there. BTW, if you see he is in stock, try ordering one for pickup instead of visiting the store. The store inventory checker says a Christmas item is in stock at my nearest Target... and they didn't even have the boxes unpacked yet at 1pm. So... do order pickup... go late in the day... or go the next day. |

For anyone wondering, the cape from Dragon Stars SSJ Teen Gohan works on the new Super Hero Gohan fairly well

I went to a Target in Garland, TX and there were 6 Ultimate Gohan figures. 4 out of the 6 had thighs/hips that belled outward. The other two were good.  I then went to the Walmart across the street, and they had 28 Super Saiyan Gohan figures. All 28 had thighs/hips that belled outward.  I put my SS Gohan head on a perfect Ultimate Gohan body, and that solved the issue with the belled hips... it's a perfect paint/skin match in every way. |

So that's where all the super saiyan Gohan's went  But glad to see there are a couple of the target ones that have the better hips |

I just got the Target Gohan, and hes incredible. Much better experience than the DBS Trunks.  Im tempted to pick up Piccolo, but the lack of cape bothers me. Guess we are doomed to never have a good 5 inch scale piccolo with a removable cape… |

I'd love to have a MIR shirt Android 17 and an Android 18 in pink tracksuit. With 17 being the MVP of the Tournament of Power, I'll be surprised if we don't see one sooner or later.
I can't say I would be interested in a DBZ version of the characters though... but only because it seems like we only get 3 characters a year. I'm still a bit bothered we got Namek Saga SS Goku instead of something from DB Super. It's a good figure, but it's disappointing (to me) to see DBZ characters in this extremely limited release line. I wish they'd start releasing 6 characters each year.
If we were getting 6+ figures a year, I'd love a DBZ 17 and 18 to replace Irwin's "ok" ones. But to me, there are a lot of important DB Super characters I am dying to see in this line that we still don't have. SS2 Kefla... SS Rose Goku Black... MIR shirt Android 17... Zamasu... etc.

I can definitely see a ssj rose in this line and other super characters but sadly kefla might be a stretch
Does anyone know how restocks work for this line? I remember seeing broly on a Walmart shelf a few months ago, but I know he was the first wave. Do they continue making them or are they super limited?

arroz1 it seems like Evolve figures don't usually get reissued, but I think SSB Goku got reissued at some point in 2022, but I can't remember why or when. I probably made a post about it in this thread. I don't think the SS Brolys got reissued, but I could be wrong. I think they just sell very poorly compared to everyone else. For whatever reason, Jiren was a slow seller when his wave/series was released, but SS Broly being so small compared to Goku and Vegeta made him sell very poorly. Dragon Stars figures get rereleased all the time--creating an accurate checklist for Dragon Stars would surely be impossible for anyone who doesn't have access to store data. (Ex: I'm sure Entertainment Earth could create an accurate checklist, or maybe a Gamestop employee, but just a collector...? Good luck.) I bought a Perfect Cell in new packaging around a month ago, and I have no idea he had been reissued. Edit: I looked in this thread and even elsewhere and I can't find where I mentioned seeing SSB Goku for sale again. I think it was Target's website, a month or two before the Target Exclusive SS Goku was available.
