I've been here for awhile, but I thought that it's time for me to upload some of my customs. Since I collect vintage, most of my customs are to scale with Bandai, Irwin, Jakks, etc. Here's a custom I finished today of my favorite character, Jeice. The recipe for this figure is all over the place. I used a bootleg SHF Goku face, Irwin Jeice hair, bootleg SHF Vegeta arms, legs, literally half of the neck and scouter, and Bandai energy blasting Vegeta torso. The paint in some spots (the legs and boots) aren't as clean as I wanted them to be as when I started this custom I didn't thin my paints with water, so it's very streaky. The hardest part of this custom had to be the face. Painting it was easy, but the mouth was difficult. I still don't like the way it looks but I felt if I tried anything else I'd ruin it. In the middle of making this guy the scouter broke right at the lens and I lost the actual lens piece. So, I made a new lens and carefully glued it on. For the emblem on his armor I printed and cut out the Ginyu Force logo and glued it on. I think it looks pretty good. My favorite part of this custom is the hair. I don't know how I did it but I think I made it look great. I mixed some blue and white paint and made it really thin with water, and just went to town. Although, the way the hair was sculpted on the original figure made it so that he's always looking off to the side. I guess I could have sanded his hair, but I don't really mind it. The only downside is that the left leg on the Vegeta I used was broken as I got it as fodder, so he can't move his left leg. But other than that, I think this custom is my best one yet. More to come soon!

Jeice looks pretty cool to me! Great job! I still sell the logo stickers I designed to fit Irwin/Jakks figures if you might be interested in buying a sheet. If you buy from me directly (just send me a private message on DBF) instead on ebay, I can sell to you for $13 total, including free shipping (as long as you don't want a tracking number... if you want that, I unfortunately have to charge at least $3.50 shipping). www.ebay.com/itm/202496040145?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

dbzcollector9908 Whoa... what!? I've never seen anyone swap arms the way you did it. I am guessing you had no luck boil and popping the Vegeta body? I can sympathize! That Vegeta body is really hard to pop open. I broke mine at the upper shoulders when I tried. And Jeice isn't easy either. He has a habit of actually deforming (bending) when you try to pop him open! I rarely used to use primer, but when I did, I always used some kind of plastic primer so it wouldn't have the fuzzy stuff in it. Are the bumps from the fuzzy stuff in your primer? Overall, this turned out extremely cool! I like it.
