crisis Where did you order these from? I've ordered all of them, mostly from Hobby Genki, but some of them are sold out now. Tifa I got from BBTS for $130.

I use Hobby Genki too, but I missed out on the Tifa pre-order so I had to use ebay. Those prices are insane! Even at $130 that’s still expensive. $50-$70 range is where the Bring Arts FF7 line should be at. They should’ve include a couple sets of swords for Cloud or a couple sets of gloves for Tifa, or a small materia accessory, anything. I’m curious to see how long the FF7 line will last because I can totally see the prices turning a lot of people off & skipping these. I would love to see other characters being made but I don’t want to go broke trying to acquire them. |

Let me tell you a story. I picked up this game for Nintendo Switch during the height of the COVID pandemic, in 2020. I'd heard about it from a Super Smash Bros. rumour I heard on YT where its star protagonist might have joined the roster as DLC. I checked eBay, the prices were outrageous. HUNDREDS of dollars for its NTSC version. Went to a used game store I knew about and picked up their last copy, for 65 bucks. Told myself in my head that I was laughing my arse off at the scalpers lol. Suckers! Today, my Figma of this protagonist just arrived at my post office, picking it up tomorrow! The game? Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout!

So I've finally brought Ryza home and messed around with her for a bit <3 Here's a Figma group photo. I’ve learned to appreciate Figma a lot more over the years, they have a specific style that works perfect for anime characters. I don’t own as much as SHF but from what I have, the quality has always been great & I’ve never had any figures break or have defects (unlike SHF). Although I’ve heard stories of some Figma’s being waaay overpriced, but that’s common with almost every figure line. |

And they somewhat scale kinda well with SHF from other anime.
Ryza used to go for 2-400 CAD on eBay. Snagged her for 74.99 from a US seller.

I opened up my K-On! Azusa Figma recently so I guess I'll show her off. I got her from Mandarake for a really cheap price. I'll probably post more photos of my Figma collection later I guess depending on how I feel.  |
