Picked these up on eBay today. It's Link and my waifu ahem, favourite Zelda character, Marin. I've had my eyes on these since I learned they existed! A plush of her now, plz??

Ah well, I hope Goodsmile continues making new characters at least... We got Soldier: 76 last year so I don't think the figma Overwatch line is dead yet. Academy D.Va was kinda disappointing but tbf it came out around a time when Blizzard was pushing all kinds of Academy D.Va merch for some reason, so maybe that was more of Blizzard's decision.

Weird thing about my Reinhardt is that he was advertised as and packaged as if he was brand new right from the factory, with the twisty strings still holding him into his plastic shell, and the accessories being tightly clamped in there as well, but the sides of the shell had some rips and cracks in it, and there was a lot of dust on his hammer. His joints were also super tight and stiff. It's... really weird. But, I can't really complain, since I managed to get him in a nice pose and I got him for only 40 bucks.

The Bastion figure I have is from a third party company in China that usually makes Transformers figures. He's fully poseable and you can even switch him between recon and sentry modes without the use of any accessories. Accessories for tank mode are also included just in case tho. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be in production anymore. I can't find any on ebay right now, and back when I got mine he was already inflating in price, as iirc he's supposed to retail for about 80 USD, but I ended up paying 120 for mine. He fits in great with the other Overwatch figures, but you have to be clever with posing and positioning since he's actually in a somewhat bigger scale than figma and Ultimates.
In case you want to try looking around for him yourself, the actual name of the product was "K1 Freeman" by the DX9 company.

Scored a UK-exclusive Skips Bendable Megabyte from ReBoot a couple days ago. I'm happy with this one, he was only $10 too! For a rare item he was a steal!

So after fooling around with it for a little bit, here’s a short review:

There’s no shading on it whatsoever, the body is molded in red plastic. No accessories at all, except for a really bad figure stand that barely holds it in place. They could’ve at least included some fireballs & a couple extra hands. The wings are detachable, but they’re very flimsy & loose (however that’s an easy fix). It’s very well articulated & the mouth/jaw is articulated as well. The lack of shading makes it look very cheap though.

Mannn… so I decided to pull the trigger & purchase Bring Arts Tifa Lockhart. Set me back a little over $200, but that’s the cheapest I’ve seen because the prices just keep going up. Collecting the entire FF7 cast is going to bankrupt me.

They look amazing but are NOT worth the asking price. Little to no accessories, just a set of hands, a stand, a weapon & that’s it. These should be $60 figures but they are being sold for hundreds, absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know what Square Enix was thinking for pricing these so expensive.


b-but I need them, because I’ve been waiting for articulated FF7 figures in the 6” scale for decades. This sucks.
