Puella Magi Madoka Magica Volume 2 and 3 - Blu-ray Gonstead what is this series like? Also I've noticed there seems to be a lot of the characters produced in the Figma line.

I have yet to actually watch the series. I'm still waiting on volume 1 to arrive from TradeMe via this seller who I obviously will never do business with again. However, I do know some parts here and there from hearing about the series over the years. From what I have heard, it's basically the Watchmen of Magical Girl shows, similar to how Evangelion is a deconstruction of the Mecha genre (Still need to watch that as well).

I may have to give it a watch as I loved Evangelion. Might see if JB have them because they are having another 20% off sale.

I remember when I was really little I would wake up at 4 am just to watch it lol it use to come on after this other show called the smarties. I use to have the posable figures that came with gardening tools, but lost them over the years. I was lucky to snag the schleich figurines lol

smalldogjr I've gotta say your collection of old school Hanna Barbara toys is my favorite non-DBZ collection on this site. Top Cat was one of my favorite shows when I was around 4 or 5, I always missed the good shows on Cartoon Network during primetime hours because I was at daycare, so I always watched the reruns of old cartoons they'd show at night when I got home, and Top Cat was the last show my mom would let me watch before I had to go to bed. You should post some pics of your entire collection(s)!

You should post some pics of your entire collection(s)! yea hanna barbera classics have always been great shows Hanna barbera was among my favorites growing up, I was never a big fan of Disney but always preferred hanna barbera more because hanna barbera always seemed to make there shows for all ages to enjoy to watch such as the flintstones and yogi bear and top cat, there are the kind of shows adults can enjoy as well, But Disney on the other hand always targeting only a specific audience such as using the princess cliché to get specific audiences. Hanna barbera had so much verity of styles from huckleberry hound to Johnny Quest and the super friends, it was always really interesting. I also grew up watching hanna barbera shows Top Cat was always great, it was always funny how he and his crew always got into trouble and always drove officer Dibble crazy. my favorite HB show was Pixie and Dixie even though technically they were apart of the Huckleberry hound segment, I will probably take some pics soon once I get most my stuff out of boxes I got most my DBZ stuff and HB stuff and Marvel stuff in boxes for two years when I moved, I am just waiting to buy a curio to put some of my stuff in as well
