The series really does have some of the best music I've every heard in an anime series it sets the mood for the series very well. I used to love the anime like 10 yrs ago when I first bought it from a sunco store which are all out of business now but there and media play were like 2 of the only places I could even find anime DVDs it was rare for comic book shops to even care them. So it ended up being one of the first mature animes I ever owned. If they would have included a couple characters they left out in the anime I'd almost like it better than the ova's mainly because of the music and the voice acting.

Here is a question. Which should I watch first...Death Note or Berserk? I've yet to watch Berserk, but seeing as I hear nothing but praise for it, I'm gonna go ahead and recommend you watch it first. Don't get me wrong, Death Note is awesome. For the first half. But the second half is just a big pile of mediocrity. I mean, it's not the WORST thing in the world, but it basically throws out the window everything that made the first half of it such a fun watch. And the ending isn't the most satisfying either. |

The ending to the Berserk anime isn't very satisfying either, lol. I still need to get around to watching Death Note, I have it downloaded, I just never started it. Got this Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt today.  |

Bought Pacific Rim today. Blu-Ray / DVD / Ultraviolet (Digital Copy) combo. Let me know how that is after you watch it. I bought The Conjuring today I've already seen the film 3 times already before buying this  Watching the film with Del Toro's commentary really opens up a new insight into the movie though. It's truly fascinating. |
