@aussiedcfan If you haven't already, you should definitely watch Trigun. It's an anime that EVERYONE needs to watch. Its good until the last like 3 episodes, and then the movie is awesome again

Really? How short? If I recall the others were at least 200 episodes. 161 eps, 3 animated movies, 1 LA movie, 12 OVA (13 if you count the new one from 2008), and some random music videos and specials (which was released in North America as Ranma 1/2 - Video Jukebox) Seiya is 144 eps

Either way thanks for the help mate, seiya it is. What LA if you don't mind me asking, live action?

Fine then ranama lol, I'm down for both anyways. well another reason is that Ranma was dubbed VERY well, personally i prefer it over the sub by ALOT, it was never censored and is fully uncut

Hmmm I tend to call myself an anime fan, but there aren't that many I actually got into. I've seen Death Note, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Fate/Stay Night, an X-men Anime adaptation, the Dark Knight Anime adaptations, The Matrix Animes and the familiar ones like DB, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh. And uh Shin Chan as a kid. Oh and some humorous one with a name I can't recall about kids at this school who're all really weird and a teacher who's a massive perv and that's a comedy. Don't think I've seen other Anime actively in the last 5 years or so. Yeah movies, Myazaki and Ghost in the Shell and another one I'm forgetting. I've tried Naruto, Neon Evengalion, One Piece, other Gundam series, Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Whateverdafaqitscalled, didn't like any of 'm (for sure). A friend of mine is a haaaardcore Lain fan, haven't seen that entirely yet either. Another pall recommends Afrosamurai but... meh. I have this film called D Vampire Hunter lying around. Think that's about it. Idk, does anybody have recommendations for anime that aren't goofy nor overtly graphically violent? It's the two things in anime that can put me off, I tend to not be interested in either. I like the psychology and or fantastical fighting elements of Anime. Gundam Wing, Death Note and Fate Stay are my main three anime I like apart from DB and Pokemon (Up to Johto Pokemon...).

It's funny I've actually been writing a book for years now and my dream is actually to have it be made in a genuine Anime haha. But I'm an aspiring (script) writer anyway.
