Damn, just finished watching Kill la Kill and wow. SO MUCH ACTION, such a great story, funny, and VERY similar to DBZ. Highly recommended for anime action fans.

Just wait man, it picks up really quickly. You're at the point where it's focusing on the story and it's about to get REAL. Keep at it, you won't regret it

Hahahaha I knew it. I liked his character too, he was influenced in his acting by his past experiences as a kid with lack of any emotion, and trying to fit in the society and look like a normal person. It could look forced at times but that's what he was. At first I also hate her, specially at the beggining how he threated Tenma with so much contempt after not following her dad's demands in the hospital matter (remember the ring scene). But later on, I could understand her feelings and situation and her character evolved a lot. She still despised everyone, used them and thought she was above all, so I can understand your feelings. Either way, this story has a lot of character growing and deepness, probably the best selling point apart from the plot. Eva turned on poor Tenma so quickly! That ring scene made me so angry! She tried to ruin his life an pin those murders on him out of spite then had the audacity to try to say she loved him. She was batsh!t. I rooted for Roberto when he was trying to kill her . She became tolerable when Martin was assigned to her. He was a good man and I was sad to see him go. OMG, Johan pretending to be Nina BLEW MY MIND. I did not see that coming at all O.o I saw a bit forced and unbelievable the feelings of Eva to Martin. She barely knew him, and she still was in love with Tenma. Lol, same, I thought Nina would show her dark side, but boom there was Johan! Sexy ladyboy.

care spoilerI finished watching Samurai Champloo (liked it a lot, very entertaining overall, amazing ost-op-ed, action packed, great main characters, funny and historical) give it an 8, would of been a solid 9 if the last episode went different with Jin dying roshisurprise and Parasyte give it a 6 close to 5, which I liked the first episodes and till the mid of the season but didn't like one bit how it developed later on, deus ex machina everywhere, didn't like any characters out of Shinichi and Migi, some of the decisions the characters took didn't make any sense to me, and I think the last episodes were pretty absurd and I hated the ending). /Rant off lol. Loved the intro though.

Me and my buddy are finally at episode 70 of Yu Yu Hakusho. Watching few episodes once a week. Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime series next to dbz. I still need to watch Samurai Champloo all the way through.

Loved the intro though. I just watched Samurai Champloo last week and really liked it. Yo, if Jin died I would have been SUPER PISSED. What bugged me about the ending was that after they all finally admit they care for each other, they just up and leave in separate directions. That really irked me. As for Parasyte, It's too bad you didn't care for the second half. I adored the whole thing and watching Shinichi and Migi develop as characters as events unfolded. The last couple episodes had me in tears! That OP in all kinds of badass, I'm glad you liked it. You should check out other music by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, it's all stellar. As for what I'm watching, Fate/ Stay Night, Junjou Romantica 3, DRRRx2, UtaPri 1, Gangsta (freakin' awesome so far) and Gurren Lagann. I was really enjoying Gurren Lagann until Kamina f@cking died and now I've lost all desire to continue with it. I've been told to finish it so I'll try again in a few days once things have calmed down.

about samurai champloo, Seeing how the events were turning after episodes 24 & 25 I felt it was necessary to end it with something of a big impact, and Jin's death at the end of 25 by 'The hand of the gods' samurai brought me it (while feeling sad for him, I thought that was masterly and a good death for him against a supposed one of the best samurais of the era, if not the best). But oh why, I felt dissapointed when I saw him surviving on it on ep.26, and not only that but being able to handle another cut on his back and still tough enough to end killing his opponent. I really found that to be excessively exaggerated and unreal.
In the other hand the Mugen fight was awesome till also the last episode, when he somehow survived to being gun-shotted and a big explosion of dynamite in front of him without causing him much of a problem. This was another wtf moment for me, which made me go for a final 8 rating. Being generous and forgetting how at least 1 of them had to die, I personally consider that the final ending with all 3 cast parting ways was the right choice for the show, even when they got accostumed to each other, became almost friends and went through so much. I guess I just don't like the total happy endings in these kind of shows who are supposed to be a bit realistic and not about super powers. about parasyte, The best thing of this show for me was clearly the evolution in the relationship of Shin and Migi, found it very entertaining overall. I was about to rate it a 7-8 at some point in the middle but how the things were unfolding changed it. Hated pretty much the character of Murano, who was very annoying through the whole show (she had to die at the end), I hate that Shin runs away from the Super parasyte in the last episodes fight when him and Migi have pretty much beated him down... He was without a leg, his head was almost cut off and got another leg perforated by a log. C'mon just kill it off. Also hate how he finally kills the super parasyte by himself, Shinichi had to die imo. And the last episode was very forced imo, Migi supposedly left forever, the killer guy appeared out of nowhere, Shinichi follows him (wanted to invite him to beers?) and leaves Murano, she's kidnapped and somehow Migi comes back to save the day rescuing the girl off the building. I hated the happy ending with a passion. I also expected more relevance from the police or the parasyte gang to be more developed but oh well. Gotta admit I watched the show in no much more than a week, I got hooked from the beginning and the show was quite entertaining, so there is that. Watching Code Geass actually, and I also got in the list some of the one's you're watching like Fate, Gangsta or Gurren. I don't like mechas but still.

Watching Code Geass actually, and I also got in the list some of the one's you're watching like Fate, Gangsta or Gurren. I don't like mechas but still. Samurai Champloo: I thought bith Jin and Mugen were going to die, especially Mugen. When they both woke up a week later I was happy, but I also would have accepted it had they died. Fuu could have lived on with the memory of her two friends and I would have cried and that would have been that. But I really had an issue with them surviving then peacing out like it was all nothing. Especially right after Jin and Mugen finally accepting their bromance and Mugen and Fuu finally realizing they care about each other beyond the deal that was initially made. The ending felt incomplete for me. I can see what they were going for, but it didn't work for me. Parastye: Murano and the other stalker chick were very annoying, especially stalker chick. I was so happy when she died 1) so I wouldn't have to see her creeping on Shinichi anymore and 2) because I just knew it was going to do a lot for Shinichi as a character, and I was not wrong. I liked that Migi made Shinichi take responsibility for killing Gotou. After that speech he gave about not having the right to value one life over another, then coming to terms with being forced to do so and choosing himself and his family, I found it fitting that he alone killed Gotou. He'd have been a serious hypocrite had Migi done it. Shinichi needed to kill the defenseless Gotou and sully his hands of his own free will. As for the ending, Migi said he'd sleep and let Shinichi have use of his hand, but he never said he'd be gone forever. It's also ambigous as to whether Migi helped catch Murano or not, though I like to think he did. What do you think of the 3 eps of Gangsta so far?

samurai champloo, Yes, something similar to that. Like someone's wrote, Mugen and Jin died and Fuu writes about them in his diary. That would have been a tragic but epic ending. Would have loved that. Although what I expected is Jin dying in his first encounter with Kariya (but somehow cutting him) and then Mugen revenging his death. I also thought they would stick together after all, was a bit of surprise they didn't. It is a pretty much open ending, they could have continued it someday but guess not. parasyte, The other girl was a bit annoying at start, but I liked her more, she could have had a good role with her 6 sense and how she understood him, but died too soon imo. She could have been what Misa Amane was for Light . I agree with you about Migi giving the responsability to Shinichi of killing Gotou, and you made me remember how much I hate his indecision of 'I kill him', 'No I don't', 'Well yes, I will kill him'. Like c'mon, this super parasyte has killed loads of humans without any remorse and this specie is a danger for humanity. Your mom was killed by one of them! Got my hands on the head while I was watching it, really. It's true I exaggerated with Migi leaving forever, but it was something along the lines of 'for a long time'. Migi helped for sure, Murano was falling down like 4 meters or so from Shinichi's hand if I remember well. I haven't watched anything of Gangsta, those animes I named before were just the ones in your list I also got in mine to watch a some point. Is it any good?

I've got nothing more to add on Samurai Champloo haha. Parastye: I HATED Misa soooooo damn much! I'd have died if whatsherface got an expanded role in Shinichi's life like Misa did in Light's. Uggggh, just thinking about Misa makes me want to scream. Stalker girl served her purpose. She had enough development that her death meaningfully affected Shinichi. Unless she stayed by Shinichi's side 24/7, she was bound to get killed, as Migi anticipated. Had she lived longer it would have been silly then some love triangle bullsh!t would have went down with Murano. Keeping stalker girl around wouldn't have done anything for the plot or for Shinichi's humanity. She just would have been an unnecessary character who was bound to die eventually. There was nothing she could do. Sure, she could detect parasites while Migi was asleep, but then she'd have to stay with Shinichi for protection and she would be to him. He wouldn't put her in danger like that, so she's kind of useless to him as anything other than a friend. And every guy should know better than to befriend the stalker girl who saves pieces of your hair .Misa was at least useful... sometimes. Gangsta is really damn good. I'm floored by Nico and Worick and want to read the manga so I can learn everything about them. They're such an interesting duo.

I see. Well, I have read that it will only be 12 episodes, so I will better wait for it to end, I don't like to wait 1 week to watch every episode! With SNK 2nd season will be different, the craving is superior than me with it About Samurai Champloo I will add that I wish there were some great figures 1/8 available, I have checked and there is not much at any size to be found. Only a Mugen that have a good size but I just don't like the pose because you can barely see his face because of the pose (his breakdance style of fighting). Also I still haven't decided which character I liked most, it was betwn Mugen and Jin, I guess I would go with the first because of his design, his style of fighting and his savagery. I felt more identified with Jin's personality tho. And about parasyte, I liked Misa, she was kinda stupid sometimes but was so hot that it balanced out I forgot to add that Murano had to die in the place of Kana, so there would not be a love triangle. Shinichi would have had the same development then. To me, Kana was more of an interesting character (she knew Shin had something weird and still understood him, she even cared more about him than the other girl) and could have been way more useful than the "You're not being yourself, Izumi-kun" annoying girl . I will not talk about how things had to play out after it, it just that I would have prefered a different way to go. But that's just my opinion, everyone has his.

I can't stop watching Gangsta weekly now, I'm too into it. As much as I'd like to wait for season 2 of AoT to finish before I watch it, I doubt I'll be able to. I'm catching up with the manga now. I finished the 12 volumes I bought and just ordered the remaining available 3 Ahh, yes, I know which Mugen figure you're talking about. I'd give a kidney for this Jin figure to be made click me! click me! I like both Mugen and Jin but Jin had the edge for me, especially after seeing this baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabe. Seriously though, I really, really liked Jin. Not that Mugen wasn't awesome too. Parasyte: I like hearing your opinion on it, don't worry. I feel Murano (although annoying with her "are you really Shinichi" droning on, was a better match for him because she was the essence of humanity personified and she helped keep him grounded. That's not something stalker chick could have done for Shinichi and it is something that he needed. Murano knew deep down that there was something off about Shinichi but she still didn't resent him for it (okay, other than the couple times she was really upset and literally ran from him hahaha. But in those instances she straight up knew he was lying to her but she didn't know why so it was naturally frustrated). With Murano dead, I doubt Shinichi would have wanted to be around stalker girl. He wouldn't be in the state of mind to want her romantically and she would be a burden. And Migi probably would have killed her in a couple days haha. Had Murano died, Shinichi's tether to humanity at the time would have been severed an who know if he would have been able to regain it and have the will to fight the Parasites at all. Gah, Now I want to rewatch it <3. It was easily a top 10, possibly top 5, series for me.
