Why Are Mythic legion Collectors so greedy??

So i just recently got into mythic legions, and been on lots of FB,Instagram, Forum and boards etc. When they have like a sales post like people who already have that character always snatch it up again and again, not giving people who don't have the character a chance to get it. Then post pics of multiples of the same. For example there is a character called Baron Volligar, a black knight character whos a vampire. I tried to get it but then this guy who already has several in his collection, bought it before i could, and every time they post another they get snatched up by people who already own multiples. In all the toy lines i never encountered this where people who already have a ton of the same figure keep buying and buying them leaving new comers in the dust. Its really frustrating trying to get figures from the line, they are amongst the greediest collecters, who don't give the small guys a chance to get anything. So whats the deal, why they greed? if they have 10 or so of the same, why can't the let others get a chance to buy them?.
