Here are photos by Dimitri Both (who ordered this online from Amazon in Europe) of Dragon Stars Omega Shenron compared with the Jakks and (unlicensed) AF Toys one. To me, he looks really great, because the Jakks one has always had too large of a head, and the AF Toys one looks like a muppet. When my DS Omega Shenron comes from Amazon in the US, I'll take some comparison pics with DeAgostini DBGT figures and some other things. I've mentioned this somewhere before (hopefully here), but Omega Shenron isn't a massive character like Broly (so the Jakks one is a bit too buff). 5 inch scale collectors will likely end up liking this figure a lot. Dragon Stars collectors though...? He might be a tiny bit small, but honestly not that far off in my opinion.     TDC made this height chart for his opinion of how tall he should be compared to Goku, but I think he's a bit oversized possibly here... but it's been a few years since I've watched those episodes. |

Looks about right since SSJ4 is slightly taller than base Goku too.
Either way, I hope we get an evolve version of SSJ4 to scale better with this

Dang, that's one sick looking Omega! I'm definitely going to have to track this down once it becomes available in the US. I still have to track down Nappa too as he's been the elusive one from the Nappa & Vegeta release.

Namekian Dragon if you have Amazon Prime, Nappa is $20 and free shipping. amzn.to/3NMsNXQ It beats having to waste gas and drive to places, hoping to find him for $23 to $26. Omega was on there for pre-order, but has been removed. I assume it was because they got too many pre-orders. My pre-order didn't get cancelled, so that supports my guess. He says he's arriving July 7 currently. I would assume he'll get added back to Amazon again once he is in stock. I'll post a link when I see that.

Majin Vegeta Release Date: August 2023 SS2 Goku Release Date: August 2023 SS Gotenks Release Date: January 2024 Evil Majin Buu Release Date: January 2024 Since no Super Buu or Fat Buu Dragon Stars figure exists yet, I would heavily bet on "Evil Majin Buu" being one of those forms, rather than Skinny Buu. I would assume that the SS Gotenks would most likely be a repaint or a different head on the same body previously used. Perhaps it'll be a new, revised (improved) body. This info is based on Hubbyte toy store in the Philippines. Credit to Dimitri Both for telling me this. Hubbyte first stated that SS2 Goku would have an August 2023 release date on February 15 on their Facebook. That same day they said the same about Majin Vegeta. Those were very, very, very early mentions, so maybe they have the inside scoop on info. They do not, unfortunately, sell Dragon Ball Evolve figures, so I am dying to know who the late July/early August figures will be. |

Yeah, it's strange and disappointing there's no evidence of Orange Piccolo. I would definitely buy him for my collection. I've searched pretty deep with Google looking for evidence of one, but haven't found anything.
On a related note, I contacted Bandai Play, because I could not find any photos of Dragon Ball figures at Anime Expo (which was a few days ago). (Moreover, I struggled to find ANY photos from Bandai's non-Tamashii display from Anime Expo, but that's a failure on the part of social media (people being more private about their posts and/or not typing "Anime Expo" and "Bandai" or "Dragon Ball" into their post in Facebook groups... but that frustration is taking me off topic). I contacted Bandai Play, and while they didn't answer my question properly, they gave me the impression that they didn't even have any DB stuff on display. In one of the previous years, Anime Expo was how we got a look at the upcoming DB Evolve figures. I was hoping to see upcoming Dragon Stars or DB Evolve figures in pics or videos, but I haven't seen anything relevant in what little I can actually find. I don't have a TikTok, so I didn't look there.
SDCC is July 20-23, so I hope that some saint will take a video for YouTube or post good pictures on Facebook and tag them appropriately so we can share them and find them. I'm sure Bandai Play will show upcoming figures at it.
