I want a Cooler SOOOOO bad, damnit when's he coming officially??

Ooh, that's not far!

I think he's going to satisfying Figuarts collectors as well as Irwin/Jakks collectors, because he falls into an acceptable range for both! He's small for Dragon Stars, but Dragon Stars is even less consistent with scale than Figuarts is. Most Dragon Stars figures are very close to the same height, unfortunately, which really messes with scaling. Here are screencaps mostly from Kenny Boys Toys on youtube's video along with a photo I took last night.






5 inch scale collectors can draw conclusions from this. I'm very happy with the size of Cooler! Can't wait to find one! I'll want to repaint mine eventually, to give him a slightly reddish purple skin color. Modern artwork all shows him in this bluish purple, but it's not what I prefer.


Here's TDC's height chart he made. I'd say he did a pretty accurate job on this. I'd put Cooler's 4th form at slightly taller than this, but not by much.


And I'm very happy that Cooler ended up being made at 5.5 heads tall. His head is slightly big for my preference, but it makes him a really great compromise between the two ways he shows up in the movie and in other artwork. They basically made him with the body proportions on the right, but with the head of the one on the left. Good job in my opinion.

Too bad for Bardock, he will not fit... i have to find the irwin-jakks one! And many other characters too!
