Oh man, I'm excited for Base Goku 2.0, even if it's just the regular gi body we've had a bunch already with a base head

That Janemba does look like he has some decent size. Will he come with his sword? This could be good.

Wow, first Cooler and now Janemba?! I'm definitely on-board if they've decided to go the movie route now that the Super anime is over! I know back when I was collecting the Jakks Pacific figures, in the early 2000's, I had always hoped for more movie figure releases. It seemed like IF Labs always released them, but there were hardly ever any 5" variations until the end of Jakks' run. And while these won't be 5" figures, I'll still definitely buy them as I don't really mind if they're a little out of scale with the figures I bought 20-ish years ago.
The one thing I really hope Bandai starts to get away from, at least in their Dragon Stars line, is the constant reuse of the same molds. Especially, considering these releases are only three per wave/series. I mean how many Goku's and Vegeta's does one person honestly need when there are a ton of other characters to choose from?

Youtuber "DarkSchnegge Reviews" in Germany visited the Nuremberg Toy Fair (Nürnberger Spielwarenmesse) and showed what is available from Bandai in the near future. The most interesting item is the Tenkaichi Budokai playset. "Beau's Toy Farm" visited the London Toy Fair. The most interesting item is Dragon Stars Janemba. Highlights: Sweet, We’re Getting A Dragon BallDragon Stars Tenkachi Budokai Playset.,!

Namekian Dragon I agree with your opinion! However, I would prefer to phrase it as "I'd be happy with them having a reused Goku or Vegeta (with a subtle modification like hair color or outfit design) in almost every set IF there were 5 or 6 figures per wave." If I was collecting all of the Dragon Stars figures (I'm not), I'd definitely be happy that I'm not having to buy duplicates and custom paint hair colors and do head swaps to make SS versions using the same body as the Non-SS or SSB figure they released. It's fun that they do some exclusives to Walgreens and Gamestop, because back in the day, Irwin did exclusives at EB Games and Beckett Magazine. Irwin's flaw was that their exclusives were (honestly) not all that important to anyone's collection. But a shirtless SS Goku exclusive to Gamestop? A SS Gogeta from the DB Super: Broly movie as an exclusive to Walgreens? Pretty cool! If I was collecting all of them, those are two figures I wouldn't want to skip. They got a bit cheap with their Ultra Instinct Sign Goku. I saw one in person, and it's a bit upsetting that he's so similar to the silver haired version. His face is different, but that's all. He really should have been wearing the blue shirt... OR... they should have released it just the way they did... but as a Gamestop or Walgreens exclusive. The way he was released, he isn't worthy of taking up a slot in that wave... Jakks released tons and tons of reissues with subtle modifications, but they had breadth of variety that ensured we'd also get tons of original characters (unfortunately often utilizing parts of other characters, but it was as if they were producing custom figures we didn't have to make ourselves). Irwin, on the other hand, just released a variety of characters, and didn't do tons of reissues. They were the real heroes in my opinion... even if the later Jakks figures like the Bojack Unbound series of figures were among the best releases by Irwin and Jakks collectively. With all of that said... it would be awesome if Bandai America expanded the Dragon Stars line to 5 or 6 characters per wave. I still have my fingers crossed that we'll get a DB Super: Broly in whatever mode you'd call this... with his armor on. Wrathful? Enraged? The movie characters Cooler and Janemba are awesome so far. It's a major surprise, honestly! I'd very much like to see them make Lord Slug, transformed Garlic Jr., Turles, Android 14, Super Android 13, and some other movie characters. I'll most likely buy Janemba even if he doesn't scale with my 5 inch collection, just because he's my favorite movie villain! My dream would be for them to include Dr. Wheelo, Hildegarn form 1, Hildegarn form 2, and an Oozaru Gohan in their Limit Breaker line of figures. I doubt that will happen, but honestly, I am incredibly surprised to see Cooler and Janemba in the Dragon Stars line, so anything is possible!

SS4 Vegeta's hair looks excellent. His lack of fur on his trapezius muscles (shoulders) will never stop bothering me. Thank you! I'll admit, I didn't realize that this little piece of fur was missing on the SSJ4 versions of Dragon Stars saiyans, but once I saw it I couldn't unsee it. So I decided to "fix" my SSJ4 saiyans. Repainted and added the trapezius fur to Vegeta, shortened his legs because he was way too tall, added the fur on Goku also, and repainted Gogeta's fur to dark brown, and repainted his hair. I also repainted Goku's pants (even if the original color is correct, because I just dislike that color and think he looks better like this!) Once again thanks for all the good feedback from the community here, it's so nice to have all these comments to draw ideas and inspirations from!

What part of Vegeta did you shorten? It looks like there is a cut in the upper thighs. I want to do it to mine, but I've been lazy with working on figures lately. I hate that his boots look too big too. They could have cut his height down with with not making them so huge.

Yes I cut into the thighs, but I've also seen another way where people cut the lower yellow part of the boots above the articulation, it's your choice really.

Supposedly, the Dragon Stars wave featuring Cooler and Bardock might release as early as February 15... but looks like @big_henry_and_jrs_figures on Instagram has already found Bardock somehow.

Wow, that's pretty early, I thought it wasn't coming til like May. Also I hope Bardock looks better when we get some clearer pics cause right now something looks super off idk maybe it's just me though.
