I didn't know where to post this because there's no section for Forum discussion, but when I come here, I keep getting re-directed to a site that's not Adobe, but looks exactly like the adobe flashplayer download site. And the re-direct seems like it happens at a random time, but it happens every time I log in lately.
My Anti-virus software keeps detecting malware when I'm re-directed there.
Is anyone else having this issue? If it doesn't stop, I might just leave here for a while.

Never had this issue. I'd recommend running a virus scan on your computer.

Never had this issue. I'd recommend running a virus scan on your computer. My virus scanner runs one every day at a set time, and I have two on my computer actually. My guess is that it's something here.

My guess is that it's something here. Actually it's very likely a false positive, which is not uncommon. Why in the world are you running 2 virus scanners though? Stuff like that is a recipe for false positives.

Ketchup That's really weird. I don't have that problem happening. Are you visiting www.dragonballfigures.com or dragonballfigures.boards.net? If you think it's an issue that is only with this site, please go to support.proboards.com, take a screenshot of what is happening, and post it there (where appropriate) in a new thread so they can help you directly. You could tag Branjita in it as well, so I can find it. But I really have no control of anything like that, I would just want to see what they say (if you tell me I need to look). They handle all of the stuff like that, I can only affect the design and delete the attachments on this forum (which I eventually need to do, because we are almost full). I would expect this to be a virus on your computer to be honest. If it's happening to BOTH computers though, then that may not be the case. If you visit weird sites (porn, torrent, etc.) where you may have gotten a virus, you might download www.avast.com 's free scanner and schedule a boot-time scan so Avast can scan your computer before the operating system has time to load. If you have a rootkit, that's the only way to detect it. A rootkit virus will move when the operating system is running (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and go undetected. I highly recommend you make a full backup of all of your files you must keep on an external hard drive first though, because when rootkits are deleted, sometimes the only thing you can do is do a fresh install of Windows or whatever your operating system is, and it will delete all of your personal files. In my experience, I have gotten viruses from having to use Java applets to transfer files to clients. Java is very insecure. Always make sure your Java is current (and ideally never use Java for anything). Java is completely different from Javascript. Don't confuse the two. Batch upload applets, some games, and some other things use Java. Your browser's default behavior is to ask you to allow Java. But if you ever clicked "always allow" then it will never ask. Java is pretty awful IMO. This site does not use Java. It does use Javascript though, but Javascript is completely unrelated and not an issue.

No issues here. Branjita and Ice Queen; have you guys tried using a different browser to see if its isolated to your main browser?

That's very interesting. I'm very curious what the cause is. Perhaps it's something included with the ads that Proboards inserts via Flash? Flash has been known to be a security hassle.

I just reported another ad. It was sending me to a fake Firefox page that looked very convincing--except for the URL page. It tried to automatically download what it called a Firefox patch. ProBoards needs to handle this stuff, but cannot without reports. If you view this site on your computer often, please bookmark this URL ads.proboards.com/ad-report.html and load it immediately after you have an ad that tries to download something or redirects to another URL and then tries to download something. This website proboards made keeps track of the pages you've had open on ProBoards sites, so it's really, really easy to report ads.
