Anyone who's still left miss the old forum? I fee as if this one is dying. I miss how everyone was so active and always posting constantly now it's starting to feel like a ghost town... I come on hoping to say hi to everyone I haven't talked to or heard from and it's different new people and not much conversation. To all you old forum members I just want to wish you all the best and hope you all are doing good!

I would say it's certainly less active than when I joined, but there's still people around... like me... and... me... and... some other people... and me.
But in all seriousness, I'd say the Figuarts related threads almost always have stuff going on in them, the other parts, not so much.

I think that's the most popular thing now is the figuarts. I miss the custom days where everyone was making something and everyone that wasn't was getting inspired.

Id say it's more about the old guys not posting as much. Seems everyone has just gotten a lot busier, and some just losing interest like me.

I love Dragonball z no less but collecting is just getting boring compared to building cars and that's already draining my bank... Why are you losing interest gohan?

Eh I guess it started with some rough times my family is having. That meant cash was tight so no collecting. Then there's DB super which didn't help in regaining my interest(don't like it for w/e reason). I still watch the old stuff though, that hasn't changed. Those combined with the fact the older members on here are busy/away made me fall off from the board I guess.

All of the people who inspired me all slowly started disappearing or coming on rarely then it ended up happening to me ... Sucks |

Yeah I noticed this too, I was also losing interest in dbz figures but recently I just did something unexpected. I paid $130 bucks for a figure. (Cell figuarts)

The facebook groups are definitely stealing most of our traffic. I barely have time to be on here anymore because I now work between 10 and 20 hours more a week, plus have a girlfriend.

I certainly wish I'd have seen this thread earlier. I miss the old days too... But like its been said, I'm just so busy. When I'm at school, I have almost no time to think about collecting, and now I have a full time 8:00-5:00 summer job that I'll be working until I go back to school. Between that, catching up with friends I haven't seen in months and three recently born nephews, topped with pure exhaustion from work, working on making customs is almost impossible these days :/

I don't like being on here now because of the ridiculous lag caused by some of the Flash ads.
Just several minutes ago, I was trying to post a thread in the BST section to ask if anyone had a bootleg DOD SSj Goku that they would be willing to get rid of. I gave up because the lag was infuriating.
My post "seri ouslyl ookedli kethi s".
I'm not spending $6/mo to get rid of the ads. I'd rather post on FB where there are no ads that make the site lag.
Annddd... it just happened again.
Sorry, I'm sticking to FB.

Well, for whatever it is worth, I returned to the community recently. If you guys even remember me, I don't know. I was one of the mods on the original board, and tried to keep it going for a long time after it changed ownership, but it was run by people we couldn't seem to contact. Loki and I could control the message forums and main page news updates, but updating the content pages with pics and info of newer figures was not accessible to us. I think we all drifted away from there because it was a sinking ship that we never knew when it would be shut down. I will say I am happy to have found this revived forum recently, and to see many familiar screen names. I do notice that there is not as much posting, but I am trying to visit a few times a week now and participate some. I dislike facebook and social media in general, so I'll stick around now as long as you guys do. I've started collecting again too, so I have incentive to check in frequently.
