Has there been any news on this line? Usually we would see what is next as one is released Maybe it silently got the Shodo treatment? Hopefully not. I would love to see some more of these. Godku and Goku Black would be awesome, especially if they didn't just haphazardly retool old parts again. This line can't be that expensive to produce, so it's possibly still around? |

Not sure. There are still Figure Rise being revealed (I have the 86 Lena model kit on preorder) but I’ve not seen a new Dragonball kit for a while. It’s only been 3 months since Gohan was released so it’s a bit early to know for now. While I’m here, are the Super Saiyan 4 kits good? I’m thinking about getting the set. |

Well, after an eight month hiatus on building any Dragonball model kits, I completed the Figure-Rise Super Saiyan Broly Full Power kit from the latest Broly movie last weekend! I'm not entirely sure why I was dreading putting this kit together since it's larger than most Dragonball kits, which means there are fewer smaller parts, but I'm guessing the stickers played a part. I hate applying them with a passion, but I don't have any Gundam markers, so I muddled through and I have to say they weren't as bad as I had anticipated them being.   The best part about this kit is it's the first one I put together using a GodHand nipper. I had seen reviews on YouTube about how they'd change your model building experience and I can confirm that to be the case. I had built 20 kits (19 DragonBall, 1 Toy Story) before this and I wish I had had the GodHand nipper from the start. If you're a kit builder and don't have this tool, I highly suggest adding it to your arsenal. It's that much of a game changer.  I certainly hope this line isn't dead. There are so many more characters they can do that will never see the light of day in the Dragon Stars or Figuarts lines. And hell, even if they've been done in the Figuarts line these are about half the price for people that can't afford three Figuarts releases a month. While I’m here, are the Super Saiyan 4 kits good? I’m thinking about getting the set. I've completed both the Goku and Vegeta Super Saiyan 4 kits and thought they were both good. I liked Vegeta better, but that's probably because I'm tired of Goku being thrown at us every other release. I also have the Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta kit, but he's next up on my list of figures to complete. Once complete, I'll upload images of him here for you to see. |

Namekian Dragon What kind of nippers are those exactly? GodHand in general seem to be really expensive but I'm wondering what the price is on that model in particular.

Kleo These GodHand nippers only set me back $9.99. I ordered them from USAGundam around Black Friday, but I also had a couple of pre-orders in the order, so I didn't get them until earlier this month. They're currently sold out, but here's the link: GodHand GH-GN-125 Normal Nipper Plastic Cutting. You may be able to find an equivalent on Amazon or eBay.

THe GH-GN-125 seems to be sold out everywhere, but I can find the GH-PN-125 for 19 bucks on eBay or Amazon, or the SPN-120 Ultimate Nipper for 58. Think one of those would do the trick?

Kleo I'm not very well versed in the different kinds of GodHand nippers, but I think either the GH-PN-125 or the SPN-120 Ultimate nipper would serve you well. I figure since the one I got was as cheap as it was it's probably on the lower end of the quality spectrum, so anything higher would work just as well if not better.

So, apparently, I've been majorly slacking on keeping everyone up-to-date on how my progress has been going the past 15-months. I haven't accomplished much, but I did manage to complete three kits in that timeframe. Those being Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Buzz Lightyear and Bardock. Gogeta and Buzz were completed back in July 2021 and I just completed Bardock last weekend. The DragonBall characters are more or less run-of-the-mill at this point, but the Buzz Lightyear took me twice as long, if not four-times as long, as any of the DragonBall characters have taken me. I'm really proud of the way he turned out though, especially considering he had an abundant amount of stickers ( seriously, the most of any kit I've ever put together). I'm also really happy with the way his pop-out wing assembly came together as I had little to no trouble with it. I, unfortunately, don't get to see him in all his glory as he was a gift to my Mom, but she proudly displays him and Woody together on her fireplace mantle. - - - - - - - - - - Super Saiyan 4 GogetaGot my rectangular cardboard table out, ready to get started.  I love the way they've designed these faces to come together.  Complete!  Ready to crack some skulls!  What?!? I didn't do that...  Raise the roof!  In the voice of Mr. Burns... EXCELLENT!  And an action shot for good measure.  - - - - - - - - - - Buzz LightyearStickers. Lots and lots of stickers.  Completed Buzz!  Proudly showing off his wings.  "To infinity and beyond!"  Oh no! My space helmet!  Don't make me fire this laser...  "There appears to be no signs of intelligent life anywhere."  You're my favorite deputy!  Woody lending a han... hat?!  Proudly showing off their "Andy" markings.  Crossover?!?  - - - - - - - - - - BardockAnd now, for my favorite DragonBall character of all-time... Bardock! I absolutely loved working on this kit and how well everything came together. Customary before picture.  Completed Bardock with his accessories.  Bardock... the Father of Goku.  "This is for all the people that we killed in your name! I wish we were never foolish enough to obey you!"  "Here! HAVE IT!"  |
