Let's see them!
I took third place at a contest last night as Barnabas Collins and won $300
. I spent 12 hours yesterday redoing parts of my costume, doing hair, makeup, etc. It's nice to win something for it, but I'd be happier to see some of the pics strangers were taking of me!
On the way home, I needed to rinse some stuff off my car, so I stopped at a car wash at 1 a.m., and I had just finished. A drifter who came around the corner offering to dry my car (or mug me, either one) went almost as pale as I was when he saw me and he was speechless.
