I liked the portraits on the side of the old packages, they look great all lined up under my shelf. But I'm not overly disappointed to see them gone.

Bah, who needs accessories when you're the God of Destruction.

Apparently I do. Beerus sama although the God of destruction is also a big foodie so a accessory like a Japanese lunch box including the chopstick with that wasabi that sent his red face flying and destroying 7 planets in mere secs would have been a fulfilling little addition to this release if not that then at least a purple fitting blast or a dark energy aura effect like when he's mad and about to end things would have been good too. I feel that every Dbz figuarts should have some kind of accessory in a way. Saiyan Saga Vegeta with blasts, Frieza with beams, Krillin with destructo disc, Goku with Ka me ha me ha are some of the more complete and fulfilling figuarts releases to me. It captures the true essence of DBZ as a whole. Action figures I feel are made so that we can relive what we've seen on the big screen in the palm of our hands, so why not give us deeply connected fans a little more and make us feel that much closer to what we've seen and enjoyed in Db/DBZ/DBGT/DBS instead of taking it away slowly and steady.
I really don't care about the box when it comes to accessories. Give me a plain looking cardboard box with just a DBZ sticker on it to cut costs and I'll be fine but I need accessories to feel complete and happy when I purchase these releases instead of paying 20$-30$ separately to get them.

Beerus has really grown on me over the last couple weeks the more I see pictures. I think I may need to pick him up now.

Does anyone still think he's a bad guy? He doesn't seem like one to me anymore

Does anyone still think he's a bad guy? He doesn't seem like one to me anymore He never really was a bad guy. Antagonist, sure but not any sort of villain. He's neutral.

Yeah, he's a bit like Galactus. He's not evil, he's just of necessary force in the universe.

Don't care about the package, all that matters is the sculpt, paint applications, and articulation. Package meh... as its going to be thrown away or into storage. Some people are interested in the package. Well I certainly don't care about the box. As I'm paying for a figure! Not a box! Not like MexiGoku. In any case I'd rather have just a plain cardboard box or a simple sheet of card back with the figure in a plastic case, so it can cut cost, lower the price, or the money that would of gone into the design and print of the box can go to more articulation or best into more accessories! Best example is that DC Signature Collection Doomsday figure. OMG! Its a waste as A LOT of the funding went into the box of it rather than the figure itself!!!!! I know theres box collectors or whatever theyre called, but its the figure that we're paying for, its the figure that we're posing, its the figure that we're enjoying, the box... nope. But for me the box, doesn't matter, the figure certainly does matter.

Forget the cardboard boxes, Tamashii should just place the figures in plastic wrap, then they will REALLY have more money to make quality figures; yeah!!
