Is anyone planning on heading out to the SDCC in 2016? I know this is far in advance....If I can get my tickets, I plan on going out for two days.

I'm going to try and go this year if I managed to get tickets. I'll most likely go for 2-3 days my only concern is getting a room for the weekend.

I've been looking @ places to stay but anything within 20miles of the con is too expensive. Luckily, live near la so i may just head out for a day or get a room a bit further out |

I'm intending to go.
The Con runs a multi-hotel shuttle service that is VERY handy if you're planning to stay at a hotel away from the Convention Center. It's best to look up the shuttle service and book at one of the hotels they run to. That's what my brother and I did for SDCC 2014. The shuttles are free and run approximately every half-hour to the various hotel routes. VERY convenient for getting to and from the Con.

Did any of you guys get tickets yet? Advanced sales for those who went last year sold out in 77 minutes (about 20 slower than last year).
Sales for all other folks should be up around February.
