so i bought a bunch of figures recently and they are caked in dust, and its the kind of dust that makes the figure feel grimy so it wont just wipe off and its worse for figures like SS Goku because you cant get your fingers or towel through his hair. does anyone know how to remove this dust? rinsing with water just makes the dust stick worse

Warm water, soap and a tooth brush would probably work.

What VR said. If I receive a bunch of old figures and they are a bit grimy, I'll scrub 'em up a bit with dish soap or Simple Green, a soft bristled brush, then just rise them off with water. If you're just doing one figure, a toothbrush would work. If you are doing a whole batch of figures, I'd get a bigger brush to move along faster.

good methods for larger figures but i got a bucket of Gashapon... would take DAYS
and i didnt see the PM lol, get to it now
