Is the 3DS even worth it? I'm still having a hard time wanting it. There are plenty of 3DS games I want to check out one day but I was holding off in the hopes that they'd make some sort of 3DS extension for the Wii U.

I would much rather have a proper console or my pc for gaming. I've never been a big fan of handheld gaming.

The only thing I like about the 2DS is that it doesn't have a hinge like the others which is prone to breaking. I'd maybe buy it if I couldn't get a older DS for much cheaper.
Don't know about the 3DS so sorry, only played DoA on one for a bit and I didn't like it the look of the 3D so I never bothered with the system. I'm still waiting on getting a Vita, thats my main focus for handhelds.

I think the new smb coming out nxt yr will be compatible with both the 3ds and wii u some how. |

I'm actually talking about a device that would let you play 3DS games on the Wii U, not using the 3DS with the Wii. |

I got it after the price drop and once games like Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land came out. I've gotten hundreds of hours of game time out of it so far, so I'd say it's worth it now that it actually has a lot of good games. I doubt they will make something like a 3DS player for the Wii U though since it would negatively impact 3DS sales and I'm not sure it could work even with the gamepad as a second screen. As for the Vita, it's doing very poorly in sales and a lot of big name FPS games like COD have gotten pretty bad reviews on it, so I'm waiting for the price to drop. There's not very many games I'm interested in for it anyway. |

So you can actually turn off the 3D feature on the 3DS then?

Yes, they even suggest to turn it off if you have eye problems, and children under a certain age aren't supposed to use it as their eyes aren't fully developed yet. I'm guessing that's who the 2DS is primarily marketed for.

MvC 2 is better with character selection but has a big learning curve. UMvC3 is the same as the original release just with a few bonus characters. It all depends on It really depends on wheter you've played the games before. |
