Im looking to buy some yu yu hakusho figures but i dont know the scale. I have the chance to buy this one: Does anyone know the size of this or some other YYH figures close to figuarts scale. They are apparently rare but i found other if labs ones at reasonable prices. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: Also if anybody has any could they possibly display them next to SH Figuarts for reference if it isnt too much hassle

I haven't seen them compared to Figuarts but from pictures I have seen of them online and in videos, I think they'll be too big for Figuarts scale.
Don't let that stop you from buying them though.

Yeah, I think the IF Labs YuYu Hakusho figures are around 8" scale.

ShadowTheOtaku I can help with this. This is from the Jakks 5-6 inch YYH line. It was unfortunately a very limited line that was canceled early (you can see prototypes from canceled waves at this link). The line only received one basic and one deluxe wave and it seems they are incredibly hard to find now. Here's a pic of a few of the figures next to a Figuarts Goku. Goku's height is 5'7" and Yusuke's height is 5'8" so as far as I'm concerned these are in scale...however...I'm not sure if I would recommend them. As you can see they aren't really impressive. Some of them are hard to stand and they all have limited articulation (aside from the Dark Tournament Yusuke at the end). I only have them so I can say I have some sort of YYH collection and I'm desperately hoping Bandai produces new Figuarts versions of these characters one day (as impossible as that seems), but if you're like me and just have to have some sort of YYH figures these are at least acceptable for a display.

I just bought the Dark Tournament Yusuke. And, like you timone317 I just wanted any figures from YYH. I also agree that they NEED S.H Figuarts YYH figures or even figma. The Dark Tournament Yusuke seems to be the most common one. The other figures in the line dont look too bad to me but then again i think alot of DBZ SBC's look great. Besides that thats a pretty nice YYH collection, how did you get them as they seem to be pretty rare, did you get them when they came out? Also does anyone know why they were cancelled?

I was right in the middle of building up my Jakks DBZ collection in 2010 when I found out about the line. Once I saw what was available I had to have them. Fortunately I was able to find a few of the figures (Tournament Yusuke and the deluxe Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Suzaku) through rightstuf.com for very low prices (worth noting, I just checked out of curiosity and now they only have a few of the IF Labs figures). After that I managed to find Hiei and Kurama through Craigslist. I took the risk of sending a Western Union payment (just $20) to the seller and had to hope he would ship them and again I lucked out and got them within a week. never found the deluxe Jagan Hiei though. still, I was happy to find any of them since they were so hard to find. As for why they were canceled...according to that blog I posted they were hard to find from the initial release. I'm not sure if Jakks was to blame for it but obviously the line turned out to be a loss.

Yu (get it) must have been pretty lucky to score those timone317. Also with Jagan Hiei i saw a bunch floating around on ebay for pretty reasonable prices while looking for other figures. It is the 12 inch one if thats what you were after.

I wish SH Figuarts would just start a Yu Yu Hakusho line. Imagine Toguro at 100% power? What a figure.

Besides eBay and Amazon does anyone know any other places I could find the Jakks YYH figures? Message me if so.
