tamashii.jp/item/11078/they are releasing the sdcc exclusive sailor moon in december maybe they will do the same with goku? I think they're only doing that because she didn't sell out. I'd love it if they did the same for Goku but I highly doubt it.

There's still Bluefin Premium, so I wouldn't pull the trigger quite yet if I were you, although at the prices he's currently going for, $130 would be a great deal. Last year, Bluefin put their stock up a month after SDCC, hopefully this year it's sooner. The moment it goes up though, it's gonna be every man for himself! I'm ready though...

I bought one for $150 and decided to cancel. Seller canceled and then I ended up buying one two days ago for $170.. LAME I know.... going up in price so fast is insane. I predict this will hit the $250 mark by end of August.

I dont think so. All those hoarders are going to slowly flood the market. They messed up by posting those pics. People are already getting used to a price between $$150-220. It should stay there for awhile.

spam tamashii nations fb with this bs. i personally dont agree with this practice.for one i need three of them and at current price i cant afford it plus i pissed someone on ebay off for offering 80 bucks less than their asking price but at the end of the day if everyone quit buying dbz figs because of this they would drop the license and move on to something else.im not saying boycott either if you want it buy it if you cant or dont believe in paying scalpers dont.

brandan the point of spamming this on their fb is too show them that they screwed us all up. The manner the figures were sold was atrocious. Thats why people ended up with so many. The fact that big retailers like big bad toy stores didnt get any means they over sold them at the con. If they limit the mexico exclusive to one per person per ticket why not do the same at sdcc, This has nothing to do with them dropping the line etc.

That, ladies and gentleman, is a photo from a person that is a jerk.
Also f Bluefin for letting ANYONE buy that many figures without verifying they're a legitimate retailer that will sell them for retail price. That is ridiculous.

That pic is outrageous but for some reason I'm not surprised in the slightest. Hopefully next year will be different but now that the new series is out and how much more popular these got I'm sure they won't just choose some random char to repaint. It'll be some "have to have" char dramatic repaint to make people scalp them again. The only way the situation can be fixed is if tamashii does put a crap ton online and mass produces the same char repaint in maybe a diff box or something. I'm not counting on that happening though... Does Japan get pissed that their countries material is exclusive to a US convention?

I'm not counting on that happening though... Does Japan get pissed that their countries material is exclusive to a US convention? I'm sure Japan collectors/consumers do get pissed off, but then again they have A LOT more things that are ALWAYS exclusive to them. Best example, the Wonder Festival. How I always struggle to get a certain kit from the festival, like i'm right now struggling to secure my order and figure out what sculptor will have what for this up coming festival. And Japan has other festivals too. But they have A LOT more exclusives than we do, trust me on that! For us to get their exclusives is hard, but for them to get our exclusives is easy as there is always eBay of course and then other retailers like Amazon for example.

Crocapete It is simple... limit the number you can purchase per pass holder just like they did with mexicoku. Also japan cant get mad they almost ruined this line by not supporting it, and almost every company has an exclusive for sdcc including hot toys who are probably way more popular in china then anything is in japan.
