Does bluefin even take notice of this when they release figures? I mean someone has to notice when some guys buy like 70 figs and then others are scrambling for one or is that just me?

Coot They took enough notice at SDCC to go from a case per person down to 1-2 per person decently quickly. I would venture the guess that they are aware of the massive demand and the profit they could make by selling it at a premium on their shop.

Coot They probably do but at the end of the day, they want to make money so I think sometimes collector's integrity goes out the window and they'll sell to whoever's buying. Hopefully with the fiasco that was SDCC 2015, they'll start with limits on figures from preview night. That way, scalpers can only get a few and not have access to buying out crates of stock. Figma imposes limits on their figures from the get-go I believe and it seems to work out well. That way, the stock goes mainly to collectors, the way it should be.

im sure someone notices but for a company if they have say 10,000 figures they dont care if one person buys all of them or if 10,000 people buy one.its the same money for them either way.

This is why it`s so hard to find this figure... Mexican scalper, 250 bucks each one... SOLD OUT assuming that number is true, and i counted at least 60 gokus here, this person made at least 12k with this. Amazing 100% TRUE STORY You can see his facebook post here :https://www.facebook.com/groups/Drag0nBallCollectors.Club.Mexico/ And yep, he made more than 10 grand

Exactly, but it still sucks for the community. Simply imposing limits would really help, they're gonna sell out anyway but it's better to sell to more people than to a select few that buy a bunch.

We can still find it, but at scalper price basically. But this photo should be sent to Bandai to show them that this is what happened in SDCC for the dumb staff that allowed 12 per person! But of course Bandai is not going to care as long as they sold their product, leaving the consumers/fans to deal with the problem instead. Funny how their MexiGoku was restricted and yet ours was not, till later on apparently.
But I wonder how did they carry all of that? Like all in one go or a few at a time?

Also, if they did it this time, theyre going to do it again next year too. Might not be a popular character like this year, but for collectors and to those who complete, its going to be a problem.

It seem that they had some kind of arrangemnet with bluefin or something? because they got the import boxes.... not really sure, in facebook he said nothing of how he gt so many units... The other scalper here only got 30 units and he said he formed on the line many times to got the 30 units

That's not a way to keep and grow a community in the end though, which is a lot more important than a short term gain. If you lose all of your collectors because of crap like this, you're not going to have an audience to sell to for long.
