This probably would only have effect on our non American members. Did you guys know that on Manda's homepage it is stated that they stopped undervaluing orders. I only found out about that yesterday but apparently it has been announced about a month ago.
So did any of you guys order from there within this past month? Did You get charged horrible customs?

They stopped undervaluing all packages by default, like they used to. Now, you need to tell them to undervalue your package in the 'Notes' section of the purchase and they will do it. But then, if there is a problem with the customs of your country they will clean their hands and point at you that you asked for it and it's not their problem. I will still buy and ask them to undervalue the packages though, it's not a problem for me. SAL Reg and Unreg packages will not be stopped if there is a small amount declared, not even with a high amount, I would say. Sal Parcel and EMS are what is customs meal. I bought the 3 DWC DB saga figures from them 3 months ago and hadn't any trouble.

i feel so ignorant. What does this mean in general? I literally have no idea what you mean by undervaluing? Like the price listed on the box? Does customs take packages that cost more moeny and charge people for that?

Seal in most European countries and my country (egypt) people are charged customs over imports (in my country it's 40% for action figures!). So if I receive a package for $100 for example, I'll pay $40 in customs which is plain horrible. Thus, some japanese stores undervalue the declared cost to be $10 for example instead of $100 so that customers would pay less in customs. Now if manadarake stops doing that, it'll mean that my hobby would instantly get 40% more expensive! takezo yea I read what you said on MFC. I hope it goes as smooth as you say it will be, I'm personally quite worried.

Sawara warehouse won't undervalue! I just thought some of you might want to know to spare yourselves from the tragedy that is customs.

Anything over $20USD has the potential to get hit with customs fees in Canada. But it's not likely unless it's over $100, a big box, or sent EMS.

I purchased from Umeda 2 weeks ago and they agreed to undervalue the package. Also marked it as a gift, without me asking for it. Just letting you know. Got the package in a rush, only 8 days.
