I got mine from Amazon sellers, and they are still readily available, but some of the first few out are starting to climb in price a bit, so I'd jump on them soon if you want to get a complete set without having to dole out more than $20 per figure on too many of them.

I just ordered a collection of 9, on EBay, for $157.00. The set included Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Vegeta, and SS Goku. But since I already have the Vegeta I asked the seller to replace the Vegeta with the regular Goku and he obliged. Pretty good, I think. About $17.50 a figure. |

Yeah, it sounds like you got an even better deal than I did when I ordered a bunch of them together. Good job, glad you'll be getting these, I really like this set a lot. I got the one Piccolo I was lacking from a friend, and I ordered the Gohan in track suit recently, it is the last one so far that I don't have. When it comes in the mail, I'll have all the ones released so far.
Edit: Question for you guys, what about these "Dramatic Showcase" figures? (Goku, Gohan, Cell) Are they about in scale with this series, or are they a different size altogether? I found where I can get all three for $100, is that a good price for the set, or way too much? I'm not sure how long they've been out.

Thanks for the info guys, I appreciated the reference pictures RedStar77, that definitely helped me get a sense for those figures. What about those Crane Grabber ones I asked about, does anyone have those guys for comparison, or can tell me for sure if they are too small, too big or whatever? If they are are in scale, I might try to nab the Cell if I get a chance. I'd really like to see Banpresto continue The Figure Collection, it is such a great line for a great price with lots of attention to details. I think these might be some of my most favorite Dragonball figures I've ever picked up. They could do more Z and S sets, or maybe even some original DB guys to scale with the rest. I don't have any handy but those "crane grabber" figures you were talking about are just American rereleases of the Japanese HSCF Banpresto figures with different packaging. |

Just finished my collection! Love the line and tbh i think its the best line of DBZ figures to date! If I sell anything, im def keeping these! **also kuji broly fits the scale!!**  |

It is too bad no more characters materialized for this line. I think of all the newer stuff I've collected, this was my favorite line. They could have kept issuing characters, and I would have been unable to resist buying them all.

Agreed, They could always have more characters that will form some kind of a group picture from any of Toriyama's illustrations, different characters from other arcs or series, or just tons of characters at the same scale. for example, I would've LOVED to see these illustration being released as different figures in this line -   |
