I was wondering, seeing DragonBall and Naruto for figuarts, avengers and sword art online and others from figma. Does anyone know if figma or figuarts will make a Tokyo ghoul series in either line? Or has anyone made any customs based off Tokyo ghoul?

I doubt bandai or max factory will release figures for tokyo becaue the license was acquired by medicos. The super action statue line (articulated) has already prototyped tsukiyama and announced kaneki and suzuya. As for the statues, di molto bene has announced kaneki, touka and prototyped Uta.

From what I've seen of Super Action Statue figures, they're just as good as Figuarts and Figma. Unfortunately, they just haven't made anything I'm interested in. They made this guy from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure that looks so cool I kinda wanted to get it, despite not having ever watched the series

They're a bit larger in scale though, figures range from 16-18cm high. And Vr if you like that (he's called magician's red) check this out by Di molto bene s1.tsuki-board.net/image/Siona1407830952.jpegAnd by the way jojos bizarre adventure is really cool! I would definitely recommend you watch it if you're into a very fast paced, action packed fun series.

I wish this was a scaled statue instead of an articulated figure Aww, well. If he looks cool I'll get him anyway since he's my favorite.

JoJo's is on my list of animes to watch, but there's no telling when I'll get around to it.

I don't know if I would say SAS are too out of scale to work with other figures. The height may read as tall, but the actual scale of the figure itself seems good still. Most of the guys in JoJo are pretty tall. Here is Jotaro and Goku, keep in mind Jotaro is taller than Tien at six and a half feet tall, while Goku is only five foot nine inches. That's like nine inches difference between the two of them. Scale within the SAS line is usually nice and consistent, too. Not every figure will be as big as the JoJos, and some of the school characters they made from Part IV are shorter and closer to DBZ heights. If they stick by the scale of previous figures they made, Tokyo Ghoul figures shouldn't be all that much taller. Unless, the character is tall.
