So I discovered that California Scented pads melt things such as plastic!, I was looking in my closet for a shirt and noticed My Piccolo SBC figure on top of the California Scented pad, it litterly Melted the foot and the cape and its still very soft and gooey and squishy! :/ I am so upset, I was able to form the tip of the cape back on b , it made the plastic soft and gooey. Another California Scented pad had melted my close hanger to my shirt. I never would have known.. just as a worning to anyone who have California scented pads, do not put plastic or anything near them they will melt your stuff and turn it to goo!! They are the ones that come in a small tin can pic below. I don't know how my Piccolo got on top of it, I am guessing he fell when moving things around :/ I am pretty bummed.

I've seen those things, but I've never used them before. I guess now is probably not the best time to start.

Yea :/ I would of never guessed these things were strong enough of melting plastic, Its strange because the Piccolo figure and the close hanger do not feel hot at all, just when I touch the plastic is sticky and gooey and sticks to my figures. If it is able to melt plastic, it makes me wonder how safe the chemicals in these things are.

They do make your car smell good though and are organic. How in the world did a figure get into it btw??? Did you purposely stand Piccolo on it? lol
A bigger worry is to not mistaken those cans for cat food.

Those things are TOO good.
My mom had one in her car and it was way too overpowering that I refused to ride in her car. I'm glad she took it soon afterwards! It was real bad.

I did not notice till I was looking for something else and saw the Piccolo with his foot in the pad, and that's when I noticed his foot and cape were gooey, and the paint and plastic/residue from his foot melted on to the pads and a white streak from his cape. The strange thing is the Piccolo's cape and Foot are still gooey, like I can poke my finger nail through the foot and make an imprint.

Back when I used to use Sculpey III to customize figures, I had a lump of it in a transparent dixie cup in my armoire for several months, and when I looked, the sculpey had eaten through the cup! There was a hole in it and nothing was left of the transparent blue cup in the areas the white clay had been touching and there was no blue mark on the clay!
