this doesnt exactly fit the origins of this thread but i think it belongs here.. i'm still slightly considering getting a S.H.Figuarts Kinnikuman to maybe use BUT after doing a little research i'm not too sure as the pictures ive seen dont look to promising... Attachment Deletedhe just looks too big . even though his height on that page is listed as 145mm his torso is way longer than a DBZ style torso to my eyes.. ( more pics here shishioh.info/SHF_KINNIKUMAN.php ) another thing is that figuarts seem to have reinvented the joints for this figure - new elbow, shoulder, knee and thigh joints (not sure on the hip which could be a problem if wanting to swap legs.) the new body is cool especially for super dynamic poses and i'm tempted to get one to see how good it is, BUT will it fit with DBZ? To me it doesn't look like a very DBZ body either. I think the torso is too realistic.
DBZ bodies defy physics, but look cool. The weirdest feature in my opinion? Anybody in saiyan armor has calves as big or bigger than their thighs. That's not very common in real life.

Does anyone know some good options for 6" scale Tien heads. I've been looking at some of those SD figures and key chains and things, but I don't really know how big any of them are. I was also looking at the Striking Fighters Tien that Jakks made, but I don't know if that's big enough either.

The DWC Tien's head is a little bigger than the Jakks ones based on this pic of Adrenaline's custom. I've never owned it, but based on this pic, it is likely your best option.   This Popy one is significantly larger than Figuarts Piccolo's head  This Popy one is slightly smaller than the one above, but still larger than Figuarts Piccolo's head by a little bit... particularly with larger eyes  This Popy one would be enormous.  There's a Chara Puchi of him. It might be appropriate... I don't own it. I don't think it would look good on a Figuarts body because it's him from DB.  |

The first is a Deformation figure which has a head a little larger than HG 3.5" scale I think. The other one I think is a UDM phone strap and probably has a head a little smaller than the one to the left.
The DWC would be the best bet, but hellishly hard to find on US ebay even in bootleg form now.

Hmm, I have an extra Jakks Tien head that I have considered using to replace the DWC one on that custom you see above. I will check it out today and if I do, you can have the DWC head.

I forgot to look last night lol. I will text myself now so I remember to look tonight. I found the Popy head on ebay. Hard to find individually and probably cost me $4-5, but there used to be a seller that sold them ranging from $4-15 each. Popys are pricy.

Definitely way too small. The figure itself is only 1.8 inches, so the head is less than 1 inch easily.
