Just so everyone's aware, there's pre-order listings for the bootleg of The Tones.
We will start getting bootlegs (took them long enough).

Hey, whats a goods price to pay for the SS Goku? I see it on Amazon for 35-38 shipped If it's new, you're not going to find him for much cheaper than that. I bought mine for $20 shipped, but he was used. I've seen most listings for him at $45+

The 9th version of SMSP is being listed as "The Chinese New Year" version on eBay.

Hi, i'm new to collecting figures and just bought my first two original (I think?) figures. I bought the Goku king of coloring from a seller with good reputation and official webpage and the vegetto from a regular seller. Is it normal if the vegetto is really tan compared to Goku, he didnt have any stand like Goku so he falls very easy, Goku's box was actually better quality but both have the toei sticker and some serial code on the upper lid. So before guarantee ends how do I check vegetto's autenticity?
thanks

So before guarantee ends how do I check vegetto's autenticity? thanks If Vegetto's eyes look "wonky", there's a good chance he's a bootleg, but from what you've described, he seems legit. The real Vegetto does not come with a foot stand. If he's got a sticker, and a serial number on the inside of the box, then he's legit. The ones from this line that don't have foot stands are SSj Vegeta, Vegetto, SSjBlue Goku, DB Super base Goku, SSj Blue Vegeta, and Freeza (who has a tail support in place of a foot stand). All the others in the line have foot stands. As for the color, the coloration in this line was not consistent at all. All the Super Saiyans have different shades of hair. The SSjBlue Goku for example looks like he's from Mexico because his skin is super tan. The original Gohan's face is a completely different shade than the rest of his skin, and so forth. These figures are amazing in sculpt and size, but the paint jobs on them are garbage. The exceptions of course are Manga Dimensions and all the variants of SSj Goku after the original one.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, I want to grow my msp collection and this was helpfull. I finally found a review that showed the inside of the box and it was exactly the same so I'm possitive both figures are authentic
